Spacious and clean room. We stayed in a luxury double. It was a great size. Bed was comfortable and shower was amazing! Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially our breakfast server. Breakfast was available until 12pm which we really liked! Good location, easy walking distance to all major sites and attractions. Good restaurants and pubs surrounding the hotel. We will definitely book again.

Room size, especially the height of the ceilings, but the whole thing from doors to furnishings had a luxury feel. My wife said “best room I’ve ever stayed in”…that cemented it for me, a “win”.

Location was perfect for a tourist visit, a stones throw from the castle and university and easy to reach public transport. Luxury and spacious whilst still cosy feel to the property. Views from the property were great and property felt secure l. The welcome pack with fruit, tea, coffee, milk and cookies was a nice touch. Instructions on how to access the property were very clear.

The Balmoral never fails to exceed expectations, it is without doubt the best landmark hotel in Edinburgh, if not Scotland. Super comfortable, outstanding service and luxury.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and big enough for 3 people (2 adults and a teenager). Facilities typical of a hotel & spa golf resort.
