Far exceeded our expectations on everything especially for what it cost which included breakfast

It's a destination in itself with beautiful grounds, a luxury hotel experience and interesting history. We'll definitely go back and stay longer next time.

Breakfast and dinner both delicious and it was an added luxury to have breakfast in the room for a very small fee. The bed was huge which we loved and we had requested a nice view and had a beautiful window view of the river which was incredibly peaceful.

Bathroom had heated floor which was a luxury and the bed was super comfy. Lesley was lovely, very attentive and thoughtful. John’s breakfast was delicious and his work in the garden didn’t go unnoticed - outstanding. Will definitely stay again, maybe in the summer to see the garden in all its glory!

Breakfast was very good. The area is very scenic with good walks and places to visit. The owners are friendly and helpful.
