Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Room was warm and comfortable and it felt like a little touch of luxury everywhere. Nice large bathroom. Our hosts provided everything you could need. The food was incredibly good and well presented. Lots of lovely little thoughtful touches such as the penguins as snacks and corkscrew in the cabinet. Short walk to the centre. Parking available.

The property is located in the perfect location. Tucked just far enough away from the noise of the high street, in a quiet little dead end road. Everywhere is within walking distance. It was such a luxury to have a property with allocated parking immediately outside the property. The holiday home was very spacious (even for 4 people) and has everything you need. The host (John) very kindly allowed us to access the property early and his communication was prompt and polite.

This is a nice hotel, very much a traditional English seaside resort hotel from the days when English seaside holidays were all the rage and it's good to see some of the elegance and style of that era surviving today. I was lucky to have a room with a view straight out to sea, and it was a comfortable room with a decent sized en-suite bathroom. WiFi worked well and the breakfast was very good. The location is great - you cannot miss the beach from here!

Good selection for breakfast, choice of cereals, museli and fruits etc also full cooked breakfasts, also enjoyed the Evening menu. Relaxing Spa and Sauna downstairs well worth a visit. We'll located in a country setting for Whitby and other coastal resorts and out onto the Yorkshire Moors. Would certainly go again.
