    the appartement is a section within an old house (with another section inhabited by tenants, which is a pledge of 'livability'). it's been perfectly renovated. the thick walls ensure that its stays cool during Aug hot days without having to resort to air conditioning. Hum village is surrounded by untouched natural areas. we stayed several days, allowing us to radiate from Hum throughout most of Histria. the host is just great, with an English proficiency well above that of other hosts we met during our trip through Croatia.
