The history of the hotel as well as the castle was like stepping back in time. The restaurant delivered the best meal of our entire stay The room was beautiful and comfortable although unseasonably warm. Screens on the windows would be welcome other than that this hotel is a hidden gem of fabulous luxury in a stunning g country!

She was so informative about the area and we needed to stay a bit later in the room to take a call and she made this possible. Outstanding service. Bar staff were also so friendly. We would definitely visit this hotel again as the staff made our experience so great

Breakfast ranks with the best I’ve ever had - delicious fresh food with an unbelievable choice of hot and cold dishes, on gorgeous tableware. Marion was very friendly and provided excellent local information. Can’t wait to return!

Internet in the neighborhood went out....within 15 minutes the owner/host lightly tapped on our door and gave us his personal hotspot wifi and password = that's OUTSTANDING service! Blackberry is a five star operation at 3-4 star pricing = OUTSTANDING value! We are world travelers with 100's of lodging experiences...Go out of your way for an evening or two with these folks...you will enjoy it!

House is very modern and clean. Room and bathroom has luxury feel very comfortable place to be, place was spotless have no complaints about the state of the room it is kept very tidy. Fresh Water was provided in the room which is a nice touch after a long day of exploring local landscape. No breakfast on the property was not an issue as there is a cafe that does breakfast only a 2 minute drive down the road.
