Breakfast was always something to look forward to and he offered to cook an evening meal on request. The place is very peaceful, but without a vehicle you need to walk 20 minutes to the ski resort, where ski lockers are available.

Much more fun and less expensive than ski resort accommodation. The owner very friendly and helpful. This place was close to the station in older part of town, some distance to the ski area but there are reliable local buses, plus the ski rental guy in town 'K-sports' is happy to do drop off and pick up if you rent with him ..MarkSolo traveller

Easy to get to the ski resort on a walk, and simple bus from the station. Conbini not far, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Kind and understanding staff.

Close to convenience store and a handful of restaurants within a few hundred metres. Very clean and Hiro is an excellent host. Communal kitchen could get a little crowded but that was OK. Excellent hot showers. A little noisy but that was more the people than the place. Bonus is bus stop for Hokkaido Resort Liner right outside the door. Would stay again for sure.

Huge and tasty breakfast with any kind of food. Free ramen every night is a really nice treat. Everything so clean and well-managed. Staff always kind and available. Position close to JR station and city center for restaurants. A bit far from ski resort, but taxi is a good and reasonable-priced solution.
