Then he also gave us loads of great tips about the local area. The glamping itself felt like luxury - really cosy/comfy. It felt like a treat staying in such a unique place. It's not luxury, you don't have your own toilet or shower (it's shared and clean) but you have cute tent with bed and fan, free kayaks, beautiful calm set up and excellent food! Chef is Italian. Also very attentive and kind staff, muchas gracias Diego & Ben and doggies :) tip: book Front Lake tent.

We went up a few resorts for a decent cup of coffee. Good parking on the property. Good hot water and water pressure. Basic rooms with decent price for budget travellers.

We had a very warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff with a personal touch. Our room was spacious, meticulously clean and designed beautifully in every detail. The view of the lake across the heated infinity pool was unbeatable though. The restaurant view and the food are wonderful. If you want a prime location and a relaxing stay in a beautiful environment with friendly people, then this is the place.StephanYoung couple

We had a tree in the room and were super fascinated by it! The Mayan Caribe is right in the center and close to the Laguna. There is not many places in Bacalar that you can enter the Laguna for free, but there is one public entrance a few minutes walking and you can pay to enter some of the beach resorts or take a tour of the lagoon which is really worth it!AnneleenPeople with friends
