Our room was spacious with two big comfy double beds. It’s not high luxury, but was perfect for what we needed and fantastic value! The staff were so lovely. Although there English isn’t great they went above and beyond for us. It was a lovely place to stay and ideal location to explore Oaxaca.

Maria and her staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure your comfort. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The keycode entry pads were convenient. This isn't a luxury hotel, but it is very nice and comfortable and a relaxing base for a trip to Oaxaca. I would highly recommend it.JOLEEYoung couple

The bedding is excellent, on par with luxury brand equipment. Jimena was nice, available and extremely helpful form the moment of booking to our departure. The location was perfect, right in the city center.

In that time we have stayed in hostels, budget hotels, and in high end luxury, but for all-round comfort, pleasure and location - as well as sheer hospitality and brilliant manager and staff, the SigloXVII has been the best. We are recommending it to our friends, and will be back. The hotel arranged pick up at the airport, trips out of town all very affordably. Just as good as the nicest hotels and possibly even better. The pool and rooftop were great places to chill and have conversations. Our hosts were accommodating and gracious.
