The window in the room was very big, lots of light into the room and the view was pretty. Good spacious rooms. The hotel restaurants were cosy and had the feel of luxury.

The reception staff was very helpful. Excellent location. Convenient for taking the Rodne Lysefjord cruise under Pulpit Rock. This was my favourite city hotel in Norway. I was able to walk with my carry-on luggage to take the Flybussen airport bus upon departure.

It’s clean and the owners are quick to answer any questions online. The room furnishings are simple but functional. The bathroom has a shower but is very small. Since I'm usually only in hotel rooms to sleep, I don't need more luxury. However, I recommend booking a double room, even if you are alone. The beds in the single rooms are very narrow.

The only issue is to park the car, but there are a few parking slots behind the hostel. Rooms are just what you need, no luxury but practical. Beds are really comfortable and the room and toilet were clean and spacious enough (individual room)
