The restaurant is excellent, breakfast is not to be missed. We booked both full and half day game drives both very good. Really knowledgeable guide and the full day has a very tasty bbq. The natural pool is a first for us, great to swim, with dragon flies skimming the pool, it’s not luxury but it’s truly memorable.

The rooms are stunning and equipped with everything you need. They’re an eco resort on top of a mountain so it’s impressive how comfortable you feel. We were very well looked after, the staff were lovely, super helpful and nice to chat to. Thank you Simba and team. The activities we did and booked through them were all great, we saw many more animals than we imagined we would. Would love to come back!

This was our second time at Avoca River Cabins and again it was unforgettable. From breakfast to dinner and especially the private dining right at the loft, everything was perfect. The chutney chicken was fantastic <3 You feel right at home here. The resort is beautifully and quietly situated in the middle of citrus plantations. Everything is very clean. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. :) We will definitely visit you guys again :)

We booked for 2 nights & after a day in Addo the first day we decided to spend the full 2nd day in camp figtree & it was so relaxing; they had nice deck chairs by the little pool, lovely food & drinks, the staff were all fantastic. Our room (the outpost) was gorgeous, we had an outdoor shower & bath and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this spot especially if you are looking for relaxation & luxury in the middle of a trip!MaeveYoung couple
