On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. The location is absolutely stunning, most rooms have a view of the fjord, it's so peaceful there, I loved the breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a few minutes walk to the village along the fjord and the community park with panoramic views of the whole fjord. This was my second visit and I will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was excellent. Once acclimated the location proved excellent.. A comfortable drive to Kylemore Abbey and Ashford Castle. A nice and affordable golf course nearby and and a beautiful lake for boating and fishing just down the street. Also a boxing club and football club in town. The town of Oughterard had a few nice Pub's and a grocery that was well stocked. Our host Christian was great and his new puppy Emily couldn't be more adorable

Standing at the head of Cashel Bay, this hotel is set in 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodlands. Cashel House offers luxurious bedrooms, fine dining and a private beach. The Cashel house is in a beautiful remote location and in a very quiet private area. The house has this old charm and at the same time nicely updated modern rooms. We got aa free upgrade and really enjoyed our stay at the Cashel House!

The house was spacious with 4 bedrooms and we had the entire property to ourselves. It was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. The setting was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing trip we felt right at home.

This cottage is an absolute little gem.My family and I just spent Christmas there and it was like home away from home. The owners had decorated it and made so warm and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a feast, the fireplace and the soft furnishing made extra cozy and comfortable. Plenty of towels, bedding, cleaning products and amenities but more importantly the property is immaculate. Short walking distance from the Tesco, the pub and the beaches, plenty to do! Thanks for the banana bread and the homemade cookies! We will be back!

We celebrated my 60th birthday with 13 friends from all over the United States. We all stayed within Clifden town and enjoyed a night all together on the beautiful deck. Loved the location and kitchen/deck space. So convenient to all the shops, pubs, restaurants, and grocery store. Gerard was wonderful to work with- friendly and very responsive. It is an older home which some might not like but we loved it and would come back time and again.
