Main reason for staying in Queluz was proximity to family that lives in Amadora, which is the only reason Queluz was "just right". Rather unassuming town but did have nice parks. It is definitely not a vacation destination.

We liked the neighbourhood as it wasn’t too tourist like, it was more authentic. People in the neighbourhood are very welcoming and you’ll feel at ease as the area is peaceful (sometimes). It’s not too far from Rossio, a great place to visit! And there are many stores nearby where you can grab a quick drink with your friends or a kebab. Loved it and would recommend to everyone! :)

If not that, we were ought to wait 2 hours more after the flight and jet lag. Liked the compliment water and chocolate. The every day cleaning!!!! estupendo 😌 the towel sizes for a shower 🚿 Liked the room size and the bed. BREAKFAST are fabulous and fantastic. The room and bathroom were large with large windows and a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well maintained by the lady in charge who constantly kept the table freshly stocked and orderly. The front desk was friendly and accessible. The Palace and it’s amazing gardens are not to be missed. The building that houses the Pousada was built as part of the Palace.

The whole offers a very peaceful, luxurious and sophisticated ambiance. Our room was very spacious and elegantly decorated, and the bed extremely comfortable. The proximity to the Palácio Nacional de Queluz, which is right across the street, is a major advantage.

The hotel is small and quiet, in a beautiful old freestanding building. Rooms are spacious. And the people working there could not be any nicer, literally everyone had that typically Portuguese sense of hospitality.
