Situated in Adelaide, 400 metres from Adelaide Convention Centre, Eos by SkyCity features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a terrace. This was a near perfect hotel experience. From letting us keep our bags there whilst we flew to Alice Springs for 3 days to the seamlessness of just actually staying there, it was all excellent. The location is great for both the city and the river. We had a river view room and the view over the Oval, Festival theatre and the river was stunning. I didn't book a room with a balcony as we find we don't use them, but this time I wished that I had done. The bed was comfortable, there were complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine for my birthday arranged by the wonderful concierge, Lavinia. I loved the iPad to control the room and anything else that you needed for your stay. The staff were good without being too obsequious; when the remote broke, we had a new one within 30 mins and a sorry for putting us through that! The casino was huge but didn't impact on our stay, and the bar and restaurant were fab! The mixologist made me the best Cosmopolitan even though it wasn't on the menu. This was also the first hotel to have both a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

The Stirling Hotel is set in Stirling, within 16 km of Victoria Square and 16 km of Ayers House Museum. With free WiFi, this 5-star hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The hotel has family rooms. The hotel is just so beautiful. The room is so spacious and beautifully appointed as well as a gorgeous large balcony where we enjoyed a leisurely wine while watching the parrots come visit in the trees. The kitchenette with coffee, tea and breakfast provisions is very thoughtful, especially for those of us who don't take dairy- there were many non dairy milk options (something that is very rare in other hotels). As there are only 5 rooms in the hotel, it feels very private and luxe, and the location is at the end of the gorgeous town within easy walking distance to cafes and shops. We came across this hotel by accident last year and loved it so much that we decided to make a special visit to come back again this year. Little did we know that so many renovations were to occur in the year that managed to make the hotel even better. Staying here was the perfect end to a lovely holiday
