What a treat! If you are looking for a luxurious and comfortable retreat from the world, this is the place! Gorgeous location with beautiful surroundings. We loved the spa bath which we enjoyed whilst sipping our complimentary champagne, then slipping into the cozy bathrobes to snuggle on the sofa warmed by the log burner. Absolute heaven. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided, in fact we really didn't want to leave. We tried to book a second night, but unsurprisingly Treetops was booked out. But maybe best of all.... no internet!!! A true country escape, and we have recommended it to many friends already ❤️

Stunning vistas with a full six senses steeping of the beauty of this area. From visual peaks of mountains, flying cuckatoos, and jumping kangaroos to the sounds of Kookaburras, night jars, twerping frogs and vibrating cicadas. The smells from the gum trees, the gardenias in the garden and taste of fresh fruit left for us in the fridge is delightful. Night skies so dark it’s conducive to star gazing. The details were thoughtful, the house cool with the open ventilation and everything provided from milk, oil/vinegar, to lovely Australian Sandalwood mosquito sticks.

Rainforest location on a creek- feels secluded but easy drive into Montville and owner will drive you to Kondalilla Falls so you can do the track as a one-way. But you really won’t want to leave- the breakfast basket, bacon, eggs, professional espresso machine, cheese plate, port, fresh baked croissants in the morning. Has a little creek walk and birds and possum came to visit our balcony. Thank you Ali and Xochi.

Everything was just awesome. The ladies on reception were absolutely great and the team could not have been more helpful. Nothing was a bother. The location was beyond awesome and the facilities well, the photos speak for themselves. Can't wait to visit again.

Location was fantastic, about 5 mins drive to Montville town. It is very serene. Facilities are clean, comfortable. I love the added touch of firepit as it gets cold at night. Please do yourself a favour and eat at the restaurant! Yummy food!

We have stayed at Caloundra many times over the years.
We have stayed at Caloundra many times over the years. We love the Sunshine Coast and generally either stay at Maroochy or Caloundra. Caloundra has a great beach (Kings) and fantastic walkways all around that end of the coast. Lots of food options and plenty of pubs and clubs to suit everyone's tastes. Council do a great job keeping all those areas extra clean and gardens and lawns always maintained beautifully.

Fabulous place to visit - go to Hasting's Street to eat but...
Fabulous place to visit - go to Hasting's Street to eat but find the cheaper places - they're better value. Beach is good and long. Coastal walk is excellent if you feel vigorous - make it round to Sunshine Beach and get the bus back to Noosa Heads (6.5K) cost is minimal and avoids searching for parking.
Further on from Noosa Heads beach is the high street - big Cole's supermarket there and good shops in the high street.
Get on the ferry from Noosa and go to Tewantim - sleepy little town, stop off at the Rowing club for lunch - good value. Ferry has 6 stops and you can get a hop on-hop off ticket

The proximity of the shops,restaurants,and beach to the apartment.
It was a beautiful apartment spotlessly clean and everything you need for your break away. The view is excellent near the surf club and sea life. Mooloolaba is a great place to visit!

Unfortunately we had a few issues with the cleanliness and maintenance in the apartment. The couch was filthy and water damaged, a glass was cracked, a towel had a rip and the apartment had very dusty surfaces.
We were also unable to access basement floor while travelling down in the lift, this was a huge safety issue for us as we have a small baby and had to walk around each time to access our car.
We unfortunately may not stay again which is a shame as we love the location.

A lovely beachside town for families a setting of great eateries, bars and shopping complex.
Young or old it has something for everyone to enjoy a casual summer break. I have no doubt during peak season it would be very busy and lots more activities around.

Location and views were excellent for us. Guests need to be aware that the views were excellent but if walking difficulties maybe chose a lower floor as no lift. We were aware of this but quite happy with our choice. The whole complex was of a high standard.

The Alex is an excellent port of call for either short term or long term stays.
There are excellent walking areas, various places with equipment for exercise and the views of the beaches and water views go on for ever.
There are innumerable restaurants available and they specialise in their coffee making expertise .
Two large shopping centres are available as well as many boutique establishments.
There is always something of interest happening here, no matter if you are a party of one or a crowd of ten.
Come up and give it a visit, you won't be disappointed!!
I recommend Rick's on Sixth for excellent coffee and various cakes and pastries
Try the beef and caramelised onion pies, the are world class!!

Awesome beach. Walking distance to bars and cafes. I love staying at The Beach Retreat. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I booked for one week and ended up staying for three weeks. I didn't want to leave. That's why I keep coming back.

You really should give this place some serious consideration...
You really should give this place some serious consideration. It is beautiful inside and out. A nice deck, spectacular views, the most comfy bed. There are a couple of small flights of stairs from the road, but don't let that stop you if you are able bodied, it is worth the steps!
