Det familieeide 5-stjernershotellet Schweizerhof Luzern ligger midt i den gamle bydelen i Lucerne, ved innsjøen. Hotellet har et spa-område og elegante rom med moderne møbler. This hotel is beautiful! A lovely property that has been well looked after and the staff are very attentive. We visited at Christmas time and the lobby had the most amazing Christmas tree and festive decorations. Our rooms had views of Lake Lucerne and the alps which was lovely to wake up to every morning. The breakfast is served in what looks like a ball room! Lots of breakfast options and really nice extra's like chocolates and cakes in our room. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast was basic but plentiful: with breads, jams, cheese & eggs at your disposal. Room: Scandinavian chic comes to mind. Decor is simple but works well as the natural outdoor scenery shines bright.

In Lucerne, 4.6 km from the KKL Culture and Congress Center Lucerne, the Gasthaus Badhof offers you very spacious rooms with the best comfort. I loved ABSOLUTELY everything! The staff was amazingly kind and helpful, and all long with a smile. Ate at the restaurant and the staff was incredible. The food was wonderful. And as far as the room goes, if I could pick it up and take it with me wherever I travel to, I would. It was vast, luxurious, and nothing was missing. Best hotel room I have ever stayed in!

The views are stunning and waking up every morning to a lakeside view is the perfect way to start your day. The staff were amazing. Levent and the bar staff are the best in class. Breakfast was the best I had in Switzerland and Luzern. The cleaning crews stopped by several times a day, and with pillow service which is a throwback to the old glamorous classic hotels.

The hotel is located at the bank of Lake Lucerne with magnificent views toward the surrounding hills and the lake. It is mesmerizing. The establishment run by a wonderful Family with passion, professionalism and personal touch. Each guests welcomed and treated with care and love. Since I had my birthday on the weekend - we have received an upgrade to a beautiful suite which was full window, overlooking lake Lucerne, within the suite there was a jacuzzi. The location is quiet, yet, many things to do around. You can also take boat trip, go for a hike, etc. Within a hotel there is a fantastic restaurant - with great Chef and culinary, hospitality team - which is popular by locals and tourists equally. The food is amazing - we had Asian food. The breakfast offers healthy food with fresh local ingredients, from farmers near by - on the buffet menu: fresh cuts, various breads, cheese, fruits, vegetables, sweets, and hot drink and eggs offered everyone as per their taste. The Service Team is the Gem of this hotel - we were just humbled by the treatment of the Team. There is a safe, free underground parking with plenty of places. Thank you very much for the special birthday arrangement, the upgrade, the birthday cake, the kind celebration and chocolates. We are already planning our return trip and waiting to spend few days at the hotel. Our experience was magical, and exceeded our expectation. Yvett
