FAQs about hotels in Majorca
As lively or relaxed as you want
A firm favorite among sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. Palma, the enchanting capital, has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbor, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport shuttle rides. On the north side of the island, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana range features amazing mountain lakes. A trip to its highest peak, Puig Major, will provide breathtaking views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts include Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighboring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east, Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters. Whether you’re looking for hotels, B&Bs or apartments in Majorca, Booking.com is sure to have something to suit.

Didn’t research the location and it wasn’t for us!
Didn’t research the location and it wasn’t for us! It is not really Spain, but Germany - which is fine if that’s what you are after. The whole place was full of large groups of mostly men in football kits and the chanting was constant so it was like staying in a football stadium. We were right in the middle of the action so not the peaceful break we had anticipated. Fun to see people having a good time but it was soo noisy 24/7 Luckily bus was only 2 euros and frequent so escaped to palma every dayGuest review bysarahUnited Kingdom - Review score

Very easy to get to from the airport on the A1 bus. €5 per person one way. Beautiful city and Palma Old Town is stunning. Some of the architecture is breathtaking. Loads of fab restaurants, cafes and wine bars. The shopping is top notch too with lots of high end retailers.Guest review byJanet - Review score

Lovely area, very chilled, great restaurants, especially Cafe del sol and Restaurant delivery sol on the beach front, the Sky lounge is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and every dish was perfect, and I'm fussy. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Also the Marina bar, lovely comfy sofas to sit on and just enjoy the view with a lovely 🍹 .Guest review byMichelleUnited Kingdom - Review score

the village has not one single "spanish" restaurant, you cannot find any fruits or vegetables, it is not authentic spanish/catalan city, full of young people coming to have fun, drink and partyGuest review byIsabelleFrance - Review score

This is a very pleasant little area pretty much away from the crowds Plenty of decent restaurants and places for breakfast There are also frequent buses to the centre of Palma at a cost of €2 each way and cash only There is also a bus from/to the Airport (service A2) which is €8 for a round trip, a card can be purchased from a machine by the A1 service bus stop at the airport - be aware the A2 can be very busy which might be an issue for those with vast amounts of luggageGuest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - Review score

I having been coming to Palma Nova for 35+ years ,I've travelled the world. But Palma and its inhabitants is like my second home and would recommend it to anyone as a one off or like me Hola Como estas Hoy?Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - Review score
Typical Spanish tourist town.
Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - Review score

Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from and beautiful beaches all within walking distance. A few amusement parks, which I wouldn't be a fan of, but quieter closer to the port. We really enjoyed it in May, but probably wouldn't enjoy being close to the strip in high season.Guest review byDawnIreland - Review score
