SpainVery accommodating staff and very good location. Everything is within reach: bus station to Baqueira ski resort, grocery stores, atm machines, restaurants etc. The bed was very comfortable. I slept well. The breakfast was ok. You will have to ask the cook if you want omelet, ham and bread.

Room was really great. Spacious, comfortable, everything one could need. Classic kind of ski town place. Clean as could be too. I could have stayed there for multiple nights very very happily. Very convenient, awesome location in town, close to great food, etc. And speaking of food.... WOW to the breakfast!! Best I've had in Spain over weeks. Everything was beautiful and delicious. That's kind of why I chose the place, based on the breakfast reviews, and it did not disappoint. And our host made killer coffee. She was super sweet and genuinely friendly. Great value for the room too. Wowed on all fronts.

Cozy inn with fantastic staff. We had a two story room with two twin beds on second floor and a large double on main floor which was great for 3 adults. Wonderful room with a country feel. The staff are incredible speaking many languages.

A beautiful location! Great restaurants, shopping, hiking (we were there in June-July) and don't miss the museum downtown. A fascinating history of the area.
We had two nights of pizza! At Bomba Pizza (very casual) and La Carbonara - both excellent -

Very pretty village with good restaurants and interesting old churches. Baqueira is a bit soulless, so this is a good choice if you want to stay a bit further down the valley and take a bus (or drive) to the ski slopes

For any visitor to the resort - Salardu - it's quiet, even...
For any visitor to the resort - Salardu - it's quiet, even in the ski season - very little opens Mon-Weds, we struggled immensely - maybe go down to Arties or Vielha - that's not ideal for apres though, something to be aware of.

What can I say about a place we make sure to go back every year? Seven years in a row, my family and I drive from Barcelona and spend a few days here. Every time, we have done a different route of the loads available here, every time we find a new treasure and more often, new summer activities. After an exhausting trek and a long exposure to clean air and stunning views, you know you can go back to find amazing restaurants, REAL food served by real people. In spite of the muscle soreness, my daughter, now age 12, can't wait to go back!

Great town at the foot of the mountain. Picturesque - what you would imagine a ski town to look like. Tons of restaurants in Arties - many of the ones you see in travel websites are there or very close. Mercadona supermarket in town too so very convenient. I do recommend having your own car.

Charming town in perfect harmony with the surrounding mountains. Friendly peoples, especially for Spanish speakers. Plenty of attractions for lovers of mountain landscapes. Close to France border and Andorra. Simple but well attended gastronomy without surprises. Be your own car driver.
