Check in staff were very warm and welcoming; full of smiles! We required assistance with parking which was supported easily. The hotel is in the citadel and the views were fantastic! The hotel is a boutique experience and I found the services very upmarket; the bar was well stocked for cocktails and the breakfast smelt amazing! (We had an early ferry to catch so did't get a chance to enjoy!) The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and bars including a short walk into the harbour - a perfect location to base from to discover the city. The parking is a short distance away and the hotel has a preferential rate.

Pierre welcomed us upon arrival & immediately took care of a our needs. Being outside Calvi proper made for a quiet & idyllic stay. Pierre suggested 3 must do's in Calvi, showing detailed directions on a map. With his suggestions, we felt we got to know Calvi from an indie perspective. The breakfast was very, very good.

This was a perfect place for us to see L'ille Rousse and many interesting small towns nearby and also Calvi. The apartment was stylish and the position very convenient. Because we had an electric car rental it was perfect to have a charging place just in front of the hotel. Also, the parking was free. We were lucky to get the best room with a large terrace looking out to the port. We would definitely choose this again for it's stylish interior, comfortable quiet bedroom and it's location near the port. The staff was exceptional too. Merci!

Ajaccio is a lovely small town with lots to see and do, considering its size, and especially if you can move in the surrounding areas as well. Corsica is a really beautiful island. I recommend renting a car and driving around - there are some really exciting routes you can take with endless amazing scenery. Try the road from Piana to Porto if you can. It's breathtaking.

Bastia is a wonderful town with a bit of everything going on, but without having a hectic feel. The central marina is a very peaceful place to just hang out or to have dinner. There are many restaurants and our sampling was very favourable. It's a town worth visiting for sure.

There are two parts to the town - harbour front about 5 mins...

There are two parts to the town - harbour front about 5 mins walk; citadel about 15-20 mins walk. It is steep uphill to citadel but there are routes that smooth out the walk. Old town is scenic with lots of restaurants doing Corsican food - quite competetive on pricing as a result so you can get 3 courses for €26 and the place is buzzing in the evening. Harbourside has fewer restaurants and more typical sea side food. If you hire a car, it will likely be electric. The main charging points are at the Auchan supermarket about 2km north of Porto-Vecchio. Despite the beaches to the south, eg Palombaggia, being more famous we found Pinarellu to the North as a great beach location

I spent 3 weeks in Calvi as a teenager many years ago, so revisiting it was a delight even though we had very little time when we weren't working. The Citadelle, the port, some delightful cafe and restaurant experiences. Much is closed in March, but that is more than compensated for by the absence of tourists.

Beautiful town, folk very friendly considering it is a tourist town. Great for nearby walks, superb river swim spots nearby. Lots of choice for eating drinking chilling. Easily 10 nearby walks from town or using very cheap bus service up valley. Great info available at tourist office, ie detailed walks and maps. Plus mountainbiking up restonica valley. Was never too hot in Mid August 2025.

Our stay in Lucciana was chosen for the closeness to the airport. It was very convenient, and made our 7:30 a.m. departure stress- free. We spent our time near Cervione and Felce to visit relatives and explore the birthplace of grandparents and great-grandparents. Corsica is absolutely beautiful. I visited last as a teenager with my mother in 1962. It's even far more beautiful than I remembered it to be.

Location ideal for touring Southern Corsica.

Location ideal for touring Southern Corsica. Evening sunsets were beautiful. Many good restaurants for evening meals.. particularly enjoyed Riva Bella and Dolce Mare. Car parking was good on the port side and the barrier was up when we left after our evening meals. Appeared to be numerous boat trips available if required.

A lovely small town with a nice vibe and plenty of options...

A lovely small town with a nice vibe and plenty of options to get out on the water and explore the coast. The town is great but also easy to get up into the hills for fabulous walks with wild goats and amazing views. A lovely combination of beach/sea and mountain/ forests. We'll be back next year!
