Paris has a magnificent vibe, but you must let in run through you (metaphorically). Take in the smells, the sights, the scenery and always look up as you will always see something others don't! Using the metro is easy, but remember to look for your destination on the signs so you walk to the correct platform. I purchased a three day metro pass and it was perfect to get me around Ile de France. Eat anywhere you please; outside at a cafe is always great and good for people watching. Definitely take an early (around 830-930) morning visit to Mouffetard and have breakfast at one of the cafes in the square. The stalls and the food shops in the area are good to see and experience.

The neighborhood I have to stay at was so dirty, noisy and scary. I did not feel in security at all there. It feels like travelling to a totally different country that is definitely not France... To avoid, spend your valuable time visiting some other places in Ile de France.

The food was plentiful and amazing quality. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon drink with cake, aperitif with lovely snacks and dinner. All buffet self service and the best I have encountered on holiday. Baked Alaska! desserts to die for. Mains included monk fish steak, beefsteak, swordfish steak, trout, lamb, salmon, chicken with sauce the list goes on. Starters included fresh prawns in shell and langoustine. Fine local wines Prosecco and beer on tap. Indoor and outdoor pool lots of outdoor and indoor activities including games rooms karaoke room. Boating was fun and the driving range. The chateau itself was beautiful with a moat and the grounds and woodland walks impressive

The place is magical. I loved how they have this insane attention to detail. Even the simplest of details are done so amazingly Sitting in one of the many lounge areas in the evening and enjoying the exquisite taste in the ambient music they play is out of this world. I shazamed most of them and added them to my playlists. This place moves my senses. We also loved the outdoor sophrologie session in the woods. The sophrologist was so experienced and good at what she does. The spa is wonderful as well.
