This was a last-minute booking and we couldn’t of lucked out more! The place was beautiful. The breakfast for a small additional charge was fantastic as well! The staff was more than helpful and very friendly and we would definitely stay here again. The pool was lovely after a hot day on the beach or sightseeing to enjoy one of our wonderful purchased French wines that we bought that day. it has designated parking and is walkable to everything around the beach, all the restaurants, etc. Thanks Thierry!

Great city for a short visit. The Roman sites were very impressive. Huge selection of retail outlets to choose from, Highlights included Les Halles Nimes where you can have food and drinks in the company of locals! Make sure you try the 'Brandade' with a coffee and / or glass of wine! Excellent train transport infrastructure means Nimes is an excellent base from which to do day trips to Avignon and Montpelier.

Lots of history to look into, from Roman times through middle ages to now; some very nice restaurants; Les Halles is a great market; nice ambiance, cafés etc. Favorite spots - the cathedral and archbishops' palace, Les Halles, Narbo Via (fascinating), along the canals. Restos - En Face, Chez Lulu, Les Halles. Very walkable smaller town. Good base for visiting the area, Carcassonne, Sète, Gruissan etc. It was cold in November and people said Narbonne is known for wind, we packed our snuggies

Sete is a lovely town, with distinct areas.

Sete is a lovely town, with distinct areas. The canal area is where the shops, bars and restaurants are with plenty of choices for everyone. As a coastal town, fish is always a popular choice but there are plenty of meat choices everywhere. There are a few chain shops but the majority are independents. There is also a beach area further round the town which starts a corniche all the way to Cap d'Agde. People flock to Collioure further down the coast but for me Sete is a much nicer town with more to do and there are many events all through the year to entertain visitors.

Collioure is a delightful place to explore.

Collioure is a delightful place to explore. There are photograph opportunities wherever you turn. It was out of season so there are not so many restaurants open in the evenings on weekdays. There is plenty of choice at lunchtime but beware the aggressive seagulls stealing your food. A walk up to the windmill or an interesting visit to the Chateau Royal provides further insights into the history of this region and more spectacular views along the coast or inland to the snow capped peaks of Mount Canigou.

Cap d‘Agde is very nice destination with plenty of yacht ports and a few different beaches nearby. You can find there both restaurants, shops and disco clubs. Many small apartments with some with swimming pools. Big Aquapark and paid swimming pool are also in the area. There are buses to Agde and Gare where you can change to another bus to the airport but they do not go very often. Generally I do recommend.
