I recently stayed at Domaine de Verchant, and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene surroundings and the historic charm of the property. The hotel is perfectly situated just outside Montpellier, in a peaceful and quiet area, providing an ideal escape from the bustle of the city. The gardens and beautifully preserved historic buildings transport you to another century, making the entire experience magical. The mattress was absolutely heavenly – it gave me the best sleep of my life! The room was meticulously designed, combining modern comforts with timeless elegance. The staff were absolutely amazing – attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making my stay unforgettable. Their hospitality added a special touch to the entire experience. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Domaine de Verchant. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, history, or luxury, this place has it all.

The property offers a great location - it is in 3 minutes walk from the sea and 15 minutes away from the city center. It's territory is spacious, green and comfortable. It also allows a variety of activities from table tennis and swimming till playing or just chilling on the grass.
The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you need information or have any issue those will be attended in no time.
An apartment for 3 people could be quite small for 3 adults. It is ideal for a couple or an adult with a kid.
The swimming pool was exceptionally clean all the time during it's opening hours.
On the other side of the road (just in 7-10 minute walk) you can find a bus stop (Ponent) and a pond where you can fish, crab hunt or do some stand up paddle or any kind rowing/canoeing/kayaking.

The staff, all of them from those responsible for welcome, cleaning, restaurant and spa, were efficient, kind and polite. Excellent! The spa is divine: excellent treatments, polite staff and beautiful rooms. And the pool was magical: perfect temperature, gorgeous view, even with the rainstorm outdoors ! And the restaurants, both of them, were excellent! Each had a different approach, each provided delicious, creative choices. Un régale !!!

One of the best theme decorated places we have been to. The kids loved it! Waterpark was amazing, and specially the water-bouncy castle. The terrance was very spacious and the whole room as well. Good AC.

Great location along the seafront. The room was quite large, with beautiful views out to the sea. Just drop down to street level, and you are on the promenade. The staff was friendly and helpful.

People are kind, speak slower than in Paris. It’s laid back, inexpensive, and it really grows on you. I booked a month to study French next Spring. Much more conducive learning environment than Paris. We had great weather, and I’ve never seen so many people enjoying the outdoor dining. The town is very alive. We were a little disappointed in some of the meals, but we should have been more intentional about choosing our restaurants.

Narbonne is fascinating with all its Roman history. Wonderful food, bars, cafes and local market. It was a real surprise and a very walkable town. Would definitely recommend. We stopped off from Paris as we headed to Barcelona but could have definitely stayed longer. Bar Lobo great for sourdough pizzas, reasonably priced and Cadence at the museum for a more up market meal. All tapas was excellent and the market is a MUST but be aware it closes at 2pm

Anyone who wants to really feel Europe must visit Perpignan. Sure, no Louvre or Sacré Coeur, but also no Disneyland. The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is beautiful, and Mass there was a beautiful experience. The city is effused with history, including an enclave of gypsies (which you have now been forewarned) who are not aggressive as long as you leave them be. Perpignan was the highlight of our European vacation, which also included Barcelona and Paris.

Le Cap D'Agde It is a lovely town to visit. You can take long walks and enjoy the view of the harbor or the sea. The restaurants are open from morning until early afternoon, and then again from 7:00 PM.

A charming town with lots of great, fresh seafood options. Stay away from the touristy, over-priced restaurants along the canal though. I highly recommend that visitors speak some French, there were not a lot of English speakers here and I was glad that I can speak intermediate level French. The beaches are beautiful, I especially enjoyed Plage de Baleine. Parking is easy and the beaches are all sand, no need to be concerned about rocks.

Best way to describe it would be that it’s a hidden gem that I feel like not many people know about. Perfect spot if you’re looking for a quiet beach town experience with all the perks of being near the water. Touristic enough but not too many people

Stunning place, we loved all the little shops and seeing all the hand made items. The restaurants are also beautiful. To dine in front of the beach & watch the moon rise is spectacular. Ice cream parlors everywhere, need to try at least once.
The birds... well can't do much about them.
