I thought this was excellent value for money. The unit is a studio unit so it is a bit small, it is also looking a bit tired and worn, but the price makes up for this. It is all on the ground floor, but if you have mobility issues, there is quite a large step up into the shower. The location for visiting Bayeux and the Normandy Beaches is great. I assume guests can use the pool, it was far too cold for anyone to be swimming, but it looked clean. Nice outlook over the golf course. The unit is not part of the Mercure Hotel

Wonderful hosts & wonderful breakfast - one of the best in many years travelling in France! Fresh fruit (including figs from the garden), yoghourt, jams, cheeses, croissants, Normandy apple cake ... Lots of lovely touches in the bedroom ; great recommendation for dinner (a Lebanese restaurant nearby) & aperitifs with snacks offered beforehand. And what a fantastic position, in the heart of the old town, a stone's throw from the Seine, looking up at the chateau gaillard.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was on the edge of a nice neighborhood about a 30 minute walk to the center of town. The restaurant at the hotel had wonderful food. We also tried the Pizza Bus just across the street for a lighter meal and a few smaller grocery stores within a 10 minute walk to get a sandwich or snack. Plenty of free parking spaces and spots to charge electric cars too. We stayed here 4 nights as a base to explore Normandy and it was perfect for that.

Was a great choice to be close to the train for those early train mornings. We used it as a jumping off point to go to Mont-Saint-Michel, rent a car (lots to chose from in the same square) and drive to the Normandy beaches and then train to Paris. It’s definitely in a great spot. Another positive is that you can use the train tunnel and walk to the other side of the train tracks where there is a bit of a mall and has a few good restaurants. We really enjoyed lunch at La Taverne.

Hotel de Quebec was exactly what I needed road tripping through Normandy and booking last minute accommodations. I was here for 2 nights and the location was perfect! There is parking but it was full so I parked at a public garage close by which was still conveniently close to the hotel and just explored, walked everywhere and took in all the sites! Will def book again if I am back in the Rouen area. Best bang for my buck! Just what my budget needed!

I booked at Hotel Le Bayeux, but because they were closed for the season they sent me to Hotel Belle Normandy which was a one star upgrade for no additional cost. I really appreciate the service they provided, versus "forcing" me to pay up for the new accomodations. Belle Normandy was charming and comfortable, with a professional and helpful staff. The only downside was that it was a little bit further from the train station.

The owner is extremely kind and respectful, it was really nice to meet him and interact with him. The apartment is very clean, in a very convenient position to visit the whole city and lies within a typical building that really makes you immerse in the beautiful scenery of Normandy. The view from the kitchen is hauntingly beautiful and will gift you the best solo breakfast moments you'll have in this wonderful region.

Very comfortable accommodations, friendly and courteous staff, with an excellent breakfast. Our host, Henry made sure we had fresh chocolate croissants every morning from the bakery next door when we came down for breakfast. The location was ideal for the many places we visited in Normandy, France. Deauville is a charming town with lots of upscale shopping and many wonderful restaurants all within easy walking distance.

The hostel is very close to the train station and to the buses, which is perfect to go visit Normandy. The room was very comfortable, in the bed there were curtains for privacy and three chargers, as well as small shelves. We had two bathrooms and a toiled in a room of 6 people and a small kitchen in the room with facilities to cook and a microwave. If you are going to Etretat, you are 5 mins away from the bus stop

This quiet apartment is very nicely furnished and very comfortable, with easy access to the older Caen neighborhood of Vaugueux that has many restaurants, bars, and historic sites nearby. The main shopping area with coffee shops and bakeries is also a short walk away. And, the university campus is a 10 min walk around the perimeter of the castle walls. I would gladly return to stay here on my next trip to Normandy.

The best hostel I have ever been! It’s located just next to the railway station and bus station (incl. FlixBus). The staff is very helpful! They advised me on how to get around, go to Étretat and other cities in Normandy. The breakfast is highly recommended! For breakfast, the hotel provides scrambled eggs, bacon, porridge, different local cheeses and other products. They also have a very good coffee 👍🏻

Sincerely recomended. The apartment is really cozy and clean. The most comfortable large bed on our trip around France! Apartment located in the center of Courseulles-sur-Mer, an authentic small town on the coast, close to shops, restaurants and the marina where you can buy fresh fish. A great place to explore the Normandy coast and relax on the beach or take a long walk on the seabed at low tide

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Honfleur. Sílvia was so kind and waited to welcome us until 21:00, she served us with the most delicious croissants we had in France and she even gave us pieces of advice of what to visit throughout Normandy and Bretagne. The next day, as we were leaving, we were surprised by a local traditional market right outside La Maison Père Camembert!

Found the hotel on Booking com. Very good location for exploring a small bit of Normandy especially the war sights, Honfleur and Bayeux. Very friendly staff. Breakfasts and room excellent. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening because we were away in other locations. Within walking distance of the centre of Caen, just. We arrived by Brittany Ferry from Portsmouth.

The reception desk's host (from Bayeux) greeted us with so much good cheer that it brightened our entire stay. The hotel was a pleasant (but long) walk from Caen's main tourist sites, but the hotel's proximity to the train station helped us again and again with day trips to other parts of Normandy. Also, the hotel was quiet at night, and the breakfast was good.

We loved this hotel. It was clean as can be. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It has an elevator, very spacious rooms comfortable beds. The breakfast was very nice and worth it. It is within walking distance of the World War II Museum which is a 10. You must go visit it. We would stay here again and hope to come back to Normandy soon.

Great location, clean room, hot power shower, comfortable bed. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our time exploring Normandy. The restaurant downstairs does a great three course menu for 25 euros and serves food until about 9.30pm. Don’t miss the Farmers Market round the corner for breakfast bits if you’re in Caen on a Sunday.

I stayed at a really nice apartment in Normandy for 9 nights. Everything was very clean and tidy, and they had all the tools I needed. The person who rented it to me was super friendly and always helped me when I needed anything. I think it's a great place to stay if you want to have a good time in Normandy.

Good location if your are visiting Rouen by car. We were touring through Normandy and needed a good hotel near the center but not so close that overnight parking was a hassle. The Holiday Inn Express fit the bill nicely. Breakfast was good, it's an easy drive to the center of town. Recommended.

This was a lovely apartment with all the listed amenities. The lovely host explained the use of everything upon arrival. They also provided complementary drinks and snacks. This was a great location if you wanted a mid point between the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Honfleur and Etretat.
