Beautiful hotel attractively decorated with friendly staff. The dining room is bright and colorful. Loved the garden out behind the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with quality fresh and local foods.     Annecy is picture-perfect in every respect.

    Annecy is picture-perfect in every respect. We loved strolling through the old town and sitting by the canal with a drink in hand, people watching. The lake is also worth exploring – easy to drive or cycle around, with plenty of little villages to stop at for a bite to eat. Motorised, sail or pedal boats are available for hire at many of these, and the waters of the lake are perfect for swimming (clean and warm).

    Beautiful city with many options of sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. City bus and train are easy to navigate and quick access to many more options. There fondue at Le Monchu was spectacular and we had the best view of the mountain! Breakfast of fresh omelets was delicious at Rose du Pont surrounded by beautiful flowers, the sound of the stream and view of the mountain. We were happily surprised to take in the fresh farmers market on Saturday. Figs the size of your fist and any other fruit, vegetable and meat (cooked and fresh) were on sale. Bonus were vendors with Italian leather purses, fabric, local goods and a whole lot more.

    I came here to help my Daughter move home after a semester...

    I came here to help my Daughter move home after a semester abroad. We stayed for a few days so she could show me some of her favorite spots, but we didn't get to everything. Could have easily spent more time exploring. The city transit system made it easy anywhere we wanted to go. The trip up the Bastille using cable cars was fun and offered amazing views

    To be honest, Valence is an ugly city.

    To be honest, Valence is an ugly city. The Rhone flows through it but alas large motorways beside it. The centre is a bit run down. If you are on your way and are near it, you can visit the centre and have something to eat. There is a nice park near the river.

    Interesting town with cultural heritage.

    Interesting town with cultural heritage. I was just passing through en route from Italy to London but it is a perfect stopover for one night. Unfortunately I was there on a Monday, when some attractions eg the castle are closed but I did visit the cathedral. There are many restaurants which sell local produce.

    The Lac is a big draw for us on holiday but the lovely park, busy town centre and friendly people make it a home away from home. It’s almost like a two centre holiday. Transport routes are great with regular local buses and a great number of trains to go further afield - Lyon, Grenoble, Annecy, Paris and even Geneva to name a few.

I made 3 separate booking .You have to buy your own Toilet paper .room cleaning is extra charge .If I booked 3 times in separate occasions they must be doing the bed and give the cleaned room to me no matter its same room . I paid full price .There was a bug at the window and Room220 is right at the road where Tram runs 24 hours almost .Christina is very rude so be firm with her .The rest of girls are really nice and speaks some English.Christina does not know English at all .She should not be working at a hotel where mostly Foreigners stays .

    Les Houches is a very beautiful town with bars/restaurants within walking distance. Free bus service and only 15mins from Chamonix. We had dinner in our hotel couple of nights Les sainte antoine which was very nice and would recommend.

    A surprise package!

    A surprise package! We loved strolling the old town, but also the clever fusion of old and new architecture further out. There was lots to see and do, within walking distance of the hotel. Lots of little squares with restaurants and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the young vibe of this city.
