Ikke mange drosjer å ta av i byen, så beregn god tid.. Vi kom uten bil direkte fra flyplassen.

The interior is stylish, the lighting can be adjusted with different ambient scenes, and even the shower gel smells like gorse—the iconic yellow flowers you see everywhere around here. As tempting as it is to just relax in the room, be sure to get out and explore. There’s so much to do in and around St Ives: hike to Zennor or even Gurnard’s Head, take a boat trip, visit beaches, explore the chapel, discover great restaurants, check out 3 Mile Beach, or catch a film in the small cinema just around the corner. Highly recommended—we’ll be back!

Vi hadde Falmouth som utgangspunkt for å se oss rundt i vakre Cornwall. Det går ofte tog inn til Truro, som er en litt større by. Vi leide bil et par dager for å besøke bl a Land's End og Lizard (anbefaler å ta turen dit!) Falmouth er en veldig liten by, men har flere trivelige spisesteder. Gyllybeach er en flott strand i nærheten.

En fantastisk koselig by og vakker natur. Cornwall kan varmt anbefales selv om det var litt kronglete å reise dit. Tok tog fra Bournemouth og måtte bytte tog fire ganger. Men det var vel verdt det

Hyggelig hovedgate, mange ok spisesteder og puber. Fin badestrand på vestsiden av byen. Vi var her kun en ettermiddag og natt, skulle gjerne sett mer, fin som oppstart på fottur langs Cornwall-kysten. (Nabobyen St.Mawes var veldig koselig)

Peaceful and friendly little town in beautiful Cornwall. Nice dining, Sams, Harvester (?) and The Globe all offered nice eating experiences. I am not a big fan of the local beer though.. Nice, small authentic small shops all over. Not to be found everywhere.

Behagelig by å feriere i. Lett å komme seg rundt med kernowbussene. Med busskortet (1-7 dager) kan en reise cornwall rundt til samme pris :-) Nydelige strender, med tidevann forskjell på ca 6 meter. Nydelige turmuligheter på kyst stiene. Og selvfølgelig puber når man trenger et pit stop :-) Der er mange surfeskoler for de som liker det. For ikke å glemme konserter på flere av strendene, med bra store band :-) Mat? Cornish Pasty og Cream tea, selvfølgelig :-)

Hotellet ligger en kort gåtur til tog- og busstasjonen i St. Austell. Dette er et sentralt utgangspunkt for buss og tog til f.eks Eden Project, Mevagissey eller St. Ives. Personalet var hyggelig, og vi fikk oppbevare bagasjen der mens vi var på Eden Project. Nydelig "Cornwall breakfast." Kan anbefale en gåtur (35-40min) til Charlestown ved vannet. Her kan vi virkelig anbefale å spise et fiskemåltid på "Springtide", nydelig mat og god service.

The location is absolutely stunningly beautiful. The rooms where nice and clean. The bar/restaurant has the most wonderful view over the ocean. The staff was very helpful. I loved this hotel and hope I can return someday.

Such an amazing stay at Jamaica Inn. Everything was brilliant, the room was spotless and comfy. The food was very tasty indeed. One night is not enough, so much so that we have booked for another occasion.

We recently stayed at Camelot Castle Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel itself is truly impressive – it felt like stepping into a real historic castle. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made a great first impression. The restaurant offered an excellent selection of dishes, and the breakfasts were delicious and varied. We were also lucky to have a room with a stunning sea view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the entire hotel team for their warm hospitality! We’ll definitely be returning.
