The apartment was so cute and interesting. Staff was so friendly, helpful and professional. My kids, 10 and 12 yes, loved our room and the fact the pool table was right outside the room. we had such a great stay and can’t wait to go back to Crown Hotel. The location was perfect for our Cotswold Trip. There was plenty of parking. we have one regret and that was not having dinner there. It smelled so good and we were told it was delicious. Thank you so much, Crown Hotel, for adding to our beautiful adventure through the Cotswolds.
The Old Court is located near the centre of Witney and is a good location to explore the surrounding areas, Cotswolds, Blenheim etc... The room was comfortable with reasonable facilities and the bathroom was clean. The Hotel is linked to a Nepalese restaurant which was very enjoyable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food was very good and very reasonable. The breakfast was a basic choice but was tasty and severed promptly. There is off road parking but the spaces are limited, first come first serve!
Myself and my partner decided to stay in The Cotswolds en route back to Altrincham, after a stay in Devon. We are not at all familiar with this area, but we were recommended Bourton on the Water by a member of the family, so booked The Chester House Hotel after a short time researching hotels. We are so glad we stayed at this hotel! A really perfect location, friendly and helpful staff and just an amazing place, in the very heart of a lovely village. I am sure we will be back when the opportunity arises.
Hotel was lovely had a very cosy propa English country pub feel to the bar lounge area. Our room was a lot bigger than expected being as only booked standard double, plenty of room to move around, nice bath tub and shower in onsuite, We used the Hotel mainly for a base to visit the cotswolds and was ideal for us, you get what you pay for if you want everything high end finish dig a bit deeper in your pocket but this was 10/10 for value for money clean tidy and traditional was very happy with our stay.
Cirencester
We stayed in a very generously sized studio apartment. Separate kitchen, bathroom with bath & shower, everything very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Decor was modern and clean throughout the buildings. The property is well kept and borders the lake with lovely walks, access to watersports and would be a great base to explore the Cotswolds. At the edge of Cirencester and not far from Bristol if you like shopping. Spa, restaurant and bar on site. Free parking.
We were walking the Cotswolds way and Stonehouse Bespoke Hotel was just off the Route. The Hotel could be accessed via the Gardens from the canal, which meant you did not need to walkalong the busy road. The staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much. Our room had a lovely view of the garden but was a little dated. The breakfast selection was lovely and very tasty. Our evening meal was beautifully cooked and very nice
Lovelt location at edge of Cotswolds Water Park in quaint village. Room was lovel and bathroom all a good size. Bed very comfortable Shower was large and great water pressure. We ate dinner in the hotel reastaurant and both the choice and quality of the meal were great. Breakfast the following morning was lovely and well prepared and presented. The staff we met were lovely and helpful and polite
Broadway
The hotel is in a perfect central location with secure gated parking at the rear. The hotel itself is quaint and quirky, as an historic building in the cotswolds should be. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were very nice. I can highly recommend The Broadway Hotel.
Our stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel exceeded the (already high) expectations we had for our trip to the Cotswolds. The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good suggestions for local activities and places to go to. The gardens and many places to sit are superb. We can highly recommend this hotel for your trip to the Cotswolds
Wonderful small hotel in a central location in the Cotswolds. Breakfast was included and was wonderful. Had, lunch and dinner at the hotel and meals were all delicious. Staff was excellent - friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms absolutely spotless with lovely decor. An exceptional experience all around and look forward to staying there again sometime.
Bourton on the Water
The location was perfect, and our top room with a view to the water was more than we could have expected and was completely dreamy. Honestly, the best room in the house! The decor and the overall look of the hotel was exactly what we expected in the Cotswolds. Everything was clean and as good as we could expect for such an old hotel. We loved it!
Stow on the Wold
The apartment is not only huge, clean and very comfortable but it's in a fantastic location with great parking facilities. Stow-on-the-Wold is a gorgeous place with amazing restaurants (we went to The Old Butchers) delicious. When I next visit this part of the Cotswolds, I will definitly be staying at the Unicorn Apartments.
Hotel is ideally placed to explore the Cotswolds. Standard room was comfortable with a sofa, larger than shown on pictures. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely book again. The on site restaurants provided a good choice of dishes, breakfast buffet was ample. Lovely views of the lake when you were eating g.
Bourton on the Water
The experience in Broadlands Hotel was exceptional. Carly and the staff are very friendly, polite and made the experience feel like a home away from home. The hotel has an excellent location to visit the surroundings in The Cotswolds. The main restaurants and shops are within walking distance in Borton on the Water.
The location is very convenient for a short drive’s access to the town and also other nearby areas in the Cotswolds. The facilities are good with ample parking and good amenities including a gym. The breakfast was decent with hot and cold options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious.
Chipping Campden
The breakfast quality of food was very good. The room we had was very lucky, as it had an amazing view and patio where we could look out over the rolling hills of the cotswolds and watch the kites fly over head while listening to the sheep each evening. We were very lucky with our room location.
Lots of character and original features in this delightful Cotswolds hotel. Nicely decorated lounge/bar area which also served meals, cakes etc. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. A bonus was the free car park behind the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Chipping Campden
Woke up to snow the first morning which put a damper on our planned hiking, so we spent more time in the cottage than planned - really enjoyed the books about the Cotswolds and gardens. The cottage is everything you think an E nglish cottage should be. So much better than staying in a hotel !
We stopped at Cotswolds Hotel & Spa for the night while touring the Cotswolds. The location was within driving distance to Stow on the Wold and Burton on the Water as well as a few other places. It was nice having dining options on location. Room was clean and staff was nice.
Witney
Hotel located on the village green and bathed in evening sunshine. Very friendly and efficient staff. Evening meal and breakfast of a high quality and good quantities. Room was a good size and bed very comfortable. Hotel in an ideal location for days in Oxford or The Cotswolds.
