Absolutely love the decor and standard of furniture, fixtures and fitting of this beautifully refurbished Georgian house. Extremely well decorated and furnished, spacious, with a large bar area, large restaurant with linen tablecloths, and a separate dining area for four-legged friends. Good to know that pets are welcome and are catered for, but those without pets can dine in a separate area. Bedroom (No. 7) was beautifully furnished, spacious with very comfy super king size bed and lovely walk-in shower room with a hot powerful shower. We didn't dine in the restaurant in the evening but we both had a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive. Finally, the price for B&B for two was very reasonable. What's not to like ??? Highly recommended !!!

Spotlessly clean room, very spacious with useful additions such as light on the closet, ambient lighting and iron with ironing board. The bathroom was also immaculate and the shower was very comfortable with a very fast response on the hot/cold water. The bed was very comfortable and the room had very good sound insulation. In general a modern hotel. The location of the hotel is in the historic center of Inverness and all the bars and sights are close by.

FAQs about hotels in Scotland

A Rugged Jewel

With round-top mountains and green hills extending in almost every direction, and stone houses dotted around, Scotland is a jewel of nature forged by ice, winds and seas over thousands of years. But Scotland is much more than beautiful landscapes: it’s the finest malt whiskies in Moray County, the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, the kilts and the bagpipes, the exciting and modern Glasgow, and much more!

The country can be divided into 3 areas. The Highlands and Islands have mountainous landscapes and numerous bodies of fresh water, including Loch Lomond and Loch Ness, as well as little cities like Inverness and numerous islands like the Isle of Skye. Don’t miss the deals on Booking.com if you’re looking for hotels in the Scottish Highlands.

The Central Lowlands are the most densely inhabited area, and with Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen located in this part of Scotland, 5-star hotels are common here.

The Southern Uplands are composed of a range of hills and valleys stretching almost 200 kilometres, home to several hotels with a spa - a relaxed option to enjoy this area.

As some of the more unusual Scotland hotels, castles can be a particularly good option to enjoy a Scotland holiday in royal style.

Good location to King's Theatre.

Good location to King's Theatre. Somewhere to rest your head. Carpets need cleaning, multiple stains. Toilet like a train toilet and door didn't close properly. Beds were of good firmness. But no full mattress protector. The sheet only covers a smaller thinner top mattress. I dont like seeing an exposed mattress. It was dark in colour which would hide stains. But off putting. It is a basic hotel prefer other budget alternatives. Hotel looked modern but cheap and not very functional. I couldn't have spent a 2nd night.

A must-see if you're visiting Scotland.

A must-see if you're visiting Scotland. A beautiful, idyllic city. The center is easily walkable. To reach some historical sites like the Culloden Battlefield, you do need to take a bus, but it doesn't take long. We found plenty of gluten-free options to eat; not many, but good. If you want to take excursions into the Highlands and also explore the city, this is the best place to stay.

This review is of the Station Hotel. Continuing from what I have already written, the Station hotel was very much what I expected. I did not pay very much but do expect things to work or be present. The few staff I spoke to were friendly but the hotel itself should be so much better. I doubt i shall returnThan also goes for your invitation to leave a review, yes please but not to many details, we are not that interested in your total experience.

I didn't know Glasgow Airport was in Paisley! I was only in the airport. I went straight to Glasgow and never saw or knew I was in the vicinity of a separate town called Paisley. I'm sure it's a lovely historic town, but I've never been there. The airport was fine, as airports go. The Marriott Hotel was great, like all the other Marriott hotels.
