    From the start.

    From the start. You can’t park anywhere without being extorted by the Russians on the street controlling the parking. If/when you check in, you’ll be told block A, but your apartment could be in B, C or D. If you try to check in, you’ll be harassed by the security there to move and park your car, where you’ll have three to five Russian lads “convince” you that you can park with them.Lucky I can speak a little Russian and I was able to negotiate a stay rate (not moving in and out). Whilst my wife was waiting, she was harassed by several Russian lads, looking to provide accommodation. Two hours later I found a park for 100 lari, and then worked to check in. Up in the room / office, we were told we were in the studio (not the deluxe one bedroom we booked). After much negotiation and unwanted coffees, we finally finished our booking, with our “booking” (BUT in block C). We then checked in, but our information wasn’t transferred. So we spent another hour waiting for this to occur with a couple of Russian lads attempting to offer us more accommodation. When we finally got checked in, it was a mid building (nothing deluxe about it) room, with a skinny balcony, standard room with a little view of the water and standard to what is standard. On day two, the lifts didn’t work, and when they did they were full and you couldn’t get down. This happened for 10h of the day, and with two kids the walk from the 16th floor up and down, wasn’t exactly ideal. The whole place is just Russian dodgy, with all elements of the booking and process being interlinked with mafia style extortion and pay to pay to pay bullshit that you expect in a third world or parts of Russia, not in Georgia. Avoid and book direct with the hotels that are there factoring if you drive that you’ll be cashing out 100-200 lari for parking as there is no parking and the parking that is available is controlled by the Russian syndicates that are everywhere.

    Kobuleti is a clean & friendly town by the sea. It has A long attractive promenade bordering the seafront with well tended gardens. Shopping facilities are excellent & the Botanic Gardens & Batumi town are well served by public transport

    We had a wonderful stay in Kvariati.

    We had a wonderful stay in Kvariati. The villa was cozy, spacious, and surrounded by nature — perfect for families or groups. The sound of the nearby stream and the beautiful mountain-sea view made it a peaceful retreat. The villa owner was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and generous — he truly went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: the road up to the villa is a bit steep, so having a car is strongly recommended. That said, the host was always ready to help if anything was needed. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, privacy, and warm hospitality.

    Being very close to the border with Turkey, there is, unfortunately, TOO MUCH heavy truck traffic on the only highway along the beach. Be CAREFUL (walking) crossing the road to the beach! There are PLENTY of authentic Georgian restaurants serving great salads and cold beer!)))

    If you want to get away from the crowds and noise of Batumi, this is your place. Marshrutkas/buses come by regularly to and from Batumi, but the traffic there makes the ride about 30 minutes. Both the national park and botanical gardens are in Chakvi.

    Be careful of this host on all aspects.

    Be careful of this host on all aspects. He mentioned that he speaks 3 languages and literally he told me that he doesn’t speak English. His friend guest in the place smoke everywhere and he doesn’t hold himself from doing gas in the hallway or in the kitche. The cigarettes smell are everywhere. I spent 2 months and 24 days and the host rejected to change my sheets or the bed set. Keep an eye on them just to stay safe.

    I was on working trip.

    I was on working trip. Just 2 days, but Orbi was the worst place, there was no water, elevators were not working, there is no parking place and I had to leave my car very far from Orbi but BATUMI is excellent, Restaurant Tavaduri is excellent and the best, I shall never stay again in Orbi apartments. There was no terminal payment it was must to pay cash!!!!!!!

    Great place for easy access to the sea shore itself. Not crowded as in Batumi. Not really any architecture/city places to look at except the city queue. But it is easy to take a taxi and reach PetrA fortress in one direction (20 minutes) and Botanical garden with flamingos, parrots, huge trees from all over the world in the other direction (25 minutes). Good value for money.
