The property is beautifully put together. It is in the middle of a gorgeous field and very close to the city center. The bed is comfortable. The room/resort amenties are great. The highlight was the staff, they are super helpful, very professional ,always smiling and greeting the guests with full enthusiasm. We were drenched in the rain after our checkout but they were really accomodating and provided us with every possible assistance. Special mention to the duty manager Mr Pande Ardika for his assistance. Would definately recommend to others and visit again.

FAQs about hotels in Bali

An Island Dream

The dream destination of Bali is where volcanic landscape meets lush rice terraces and pristine beaches. Not to mention the fantastic surfing, cheap shopping and pervading spirituality that have made this Indonesian island a long-time favourite for backpackers.

The island’s capital is Denpasar in the south, but its surf and party capital is nearby Kuta. Swaying palm trees line the beach here and many more cover the grounds of the Bali hotels on the beach in more exclusive Seminyak to the north.

On the island’s north coast, Pemuteran beach offers lovely views of the sloping mountains heading towards the Bali Sea. Many beaches on this coast are black sand, including sweeping Lovina beach from where dolphins can often be seen. Tulamben in the east is one of the better diving resorts in Bali, while Sanur is a popular option for families.

Ubud is the island’s cultural capital and houses a monkey sanctuary in its jungle-like landscape. An ancient Hindu temple is found here, but the best-known temple is Tanah Lot, surrounded by water. There are also hundreds of fantastic spas in Bali, as well as meditation and yoga classes that you can join.

Whether you choose to stay inland or by the beautiful coastline, Booking.com has a great range of villas, guest houses and hotels in Bali.

The private villas with a private pool were magical and a perfect getaway. The view was amazing and the noise of the jungle was like a dream. But most of all, the service from the staff was most memorable. They were there to help us in any way they could. They kept the rooms clean, arranged a tour, got us rides, were extremely responsive, provided exceptional food, and were very friendly. Anyone considering staying at this property shouldn’t choose anything else. Make sure to take full advantage of the great food, drinks, and hospitality the staff offers!

We stayed in the Cliff pool villa. Impeccable style luxury and the best possible customer service I have ever ever received. Augus, Teresa, Tri, Dwi and many more of the staff always helped us with a smile in their face. They sent some one over to take pictures for us for a small photo shoot we planned impromptu. Cliff bar is beautiful, Watu and Roca are all amazing places to eat in. Will definitely go back for more.

Ubud is a bustling town with scooters everywhere but once you venture off the main road, you find peaceful silence. There is a smorgasbord of restaurant offerings which will leave you spoilt for choice and the coffee offering do not disappoint either. It is easy to navigate on foot but you might want to get a taxi in the stifling heat and himidity

Kuta is our favorite destination.

Kuta is our favorite destination. Beach Walk is the sceneries most for walkers. We took a taxi to go places such as Goa Lawa. We found an original Bali calendar from Bamboo paper? All was in Balinese language. This is added up our Bali collection. Then we went to Pasir Putih Beach. We stay one night where the guest house is very new. Just opened few weeks ago. The white sand beaches called youngster to swim. We just take pictures and enjoy the music by gitaris and a singer. All is Memorable.

We loved Seminyak! We went as an adult family of 6.

We loved Seminyak! We went as an adult family of 6. April is an amazing time to visit far less crowds than the peak season. We were in Seminyak for 9 days and we had no rain during the day at all - perfectly sunny days all 9 days. We used Grab cars or Gojek bikes to get around - so easy and cheap. Our favourite activity was a snorkelling trip to Nusa Penida where we saw sea turtles, manta rays and beautiful coral and vibrant fish - we chose to go with Indo Compass as they are very highly rated and we could not fault them they took us to the best snorkelling spots, found all of the turtles and manta rays we went to see plus took us across the island for lunch and to visit Kelingking for our insta photos. Best spots for dinner: Casatua in Canggu (beautiful venue and food plus check out their resident rabbits); Merah Putih (more expensive but stunning in every way); Waroeng Berdadette (great food); Shamayim Kitchen (very cheap but delish near Batu Belig beach). We also loved a DJ gig at Mrs Sippy Day Club - great place!

I highly recommend staying at Kirana Hotel in Canggu!

I highly recommend staying at Kirana Hotel in Canggu! We originally had a different hotel booked, but it was sold out, so we chose Kirana—and honestly, it turned out to be the best decision. The location is perfect, close to all the great spots around Canggu. What made our stay truly special was the amazing staff. My husband requested a pool-front room as a birthday surprise for me, and they went above and beyond to make it happen. It was such a thoughtful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. We even came earlier than our check-in time, but they still accommodated us and allowed us to enter the room early. Every staff member was incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The housekeeping was also impressive. No matter how messy we left the room, we would come back to it perfectly cleaned and organized. They made sure everything was in order, regularly changing the bed sheets and towels—nothing was ever missing. From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently excellent. They made us feel comfortable, respected, and well taken care of throughout our stay. If you’re planning to visit Canggu, I truly recommend Kirana Hotel. You won’t regret it!

Uluwatu is like Ubud by the sea merged with Canggu.

Uluwatu is like Ubud by the sea merged with Canggu. All the instagrammers come here to take pictures of themselves, and there’s lots of new “cool” cafes to attract the young rich kids. The streets are very busy with traffic. It’s a big sprawl so a motorbike is needed to get around. The views of the beaches and people surfing from the cliffs are beautiful, and there’s some nice beaches to relax on too.

If your staying in Nusa Dua, its very easy to get around with each resort/hotel having access to Taxi's. You could also walk the area and walk to Bali Collection (depending on where you are staying) - most hotels/resorts in the area have a shuttle bus to take you to the Bali Collection. Overall, Nusa Dua is a great place to relax with good food. If you like shopping, Bali Collection is something I would recommend! It's like an outdoor shopping centre, with different vendors having their own stalls. There are also named brands within the collection. As well as a few cafes, many restaurants and massage options.
