The room was spacious and clean with a big, comfortable bed and even an outdoor deck. It was a perfect base to set off from for a couple of days exploring the island, always full up on a good breakfast provided by the Dolphin first, of course.

The hotel has a very warm, welcoming feel. The staff have big smiles. It is a quiet place to unwind in a fairly remote spot. Nice big rooms and beds, a lounge, a library, and other rooms to relax in. The food was excellent, too.

In all honesty when we first arrived we thought the hotel was a bit run down. How wrong we were. There was work being done and when finished it'll be stunning. Inside was homely, so if you want modern, this isn't the hotel for you. We (my daughter and I), loved the homely feeling and decor. The staff were first class and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional! We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and couldn't fault it at all. The room was spacious and overlooked Lough Inagh. Stunning! The beds were very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. AND they are dog friendly too, even though I didn't have my four legged friend with us.
