I love the connection with the nearby cities and the connection with the beach is perfect. I felt very safe. We love that there were a lot of things to do in the camp. The staff was very nice and kind. The beds were very comfortable. And also my dog was very happy and the dogs are very well accepted and there is a long beach and you can have a lot of space. We were also fascinated about pine trees and that there was a lot of shadow during our stay.

It’s very cute and quaint with a variety of camping types (personal tents and campers but also rentable mobile homes and tent houses). I love that there is not auto traffic though the campground which makes it quiet and safe for walking. The mobile home we rented was clean and comfortable. All linens were included which was appreciated as we were traveling by bike. The beach was really nice and the water was very shallow for a long ways out.

The way the whole place was within the woodland. It was beautifully designed amongst the trees.
Lots of great activities for kids and a great atmosphere all round.
So many different pools to choose from if one was busy you could always find space at another.
Showers were great with great water pressure, beds were comfortable with clean bedding so all got a good night's sleep.

Impeccably run campsite on beach in remote, non-touristy area. We admired the design of our 5 person lodge tent, with 2 BR and BA, full kitchen and deck. Great private restaurant on grounds and a store, very quiet, friendly. The area seemed safe since no one locked up their bikes except electric bikes. Good compact design of site, not too far to walk to the beach.

Such a fun family friendly environment. We rented bikes to ride around camp (though it wasn't too large to just walk) which was super fun. The beach was really nice, our cabin was super clean and modern. With an onsite grocery store, two restaurants, beach bar, rental chairs and more, you don't have to leave the site for anything.

The Duomo is beautiful on the outside, plain on the inside. Sienna is the opposite.
You can just walk around the whole city is beautiful and safe. The "Piggy" market is better than San Lorenzo now, the san lorenzo market is much tackier than it used to be.

Unfortunately it was a business trip with not enough time to go around much. But I have been to other Italian cities and the "flavor" of the historical part of the city (a mix of old and new) for me was a lot like elsewhere I have been to, nothing stood out as exceptional or extraordinary. But hey, it's Toscana (Tuscany), so it goes without saying that the countryside is very nice.
Funny fact: I tried pizza in two different places in the old Siena. It seems they have not yet heard of the "real" neapolitan-style pizza here... :D. I am sure this cannot be true, but then again...
I very much liked eating at Osteria Cice (on Via S. Pietro 32), great stuff (especially if you like meat) at very reasonable prices - recommended!

Pisa was great, there is much to do and see. Be careful about the accommodation. We travelled to Florence and this is an altogether different experience with many tourists and group travellers. It is very busy and everywhere has to be queued. I haven't experienced anything like this outside Venice. I know it seems paradoxical or disingenuous as after all we are all tourists here but you perhaps understand what I'm trying to get across. There is much beauty to see but my advice is to stay in a hotel and not one of the many airbnbs or "managed apartments". I feel a hotel is giving more to the local economy in providing jobs and paying taxes.

There is nothing negative I can say about San Gimignano. The atmosphere, history, food, and certainly the people were perfect! I explored most of the inner city. The local wine is spectacular! The wine experience was a favorite, and also my friend took a 3 hr. wine tour, which she loved. The Hotel, Terra Ombra, was beyond what I imagined. Lorenzo and Matilde were such gracious hosts. An inspiration for all! Just 24-year-old high school friends who saw a vision and followed it. If this is only the first few years, I cannot imagine what the future will bring for them. Shoot for the stars; you are both amazing individuals.

I’ve never been to a more romantic place than this beautiful hotel run by Simonetta and her sister.
None of the photos uploaded here even begin to do justice to the actual atmosphere.
We felt like queen and king! We spent eight nights on our honeymoon at La Saracina and were able to visit, enjoy, and explore all the sights of southern Tuscany from there.
The breakfast was fantastic, with homemade bread and cake. The pool area and garden were gorgeous, the pets cute and charming, and the decor was very tasteful and crafted with high-quality materials. The entire team made our stay especially wonderful. We even got to enjoy a dinner together with other guests in the courtyard. Since there are only six guest units, the atmosphere is very intimate and soothing for the soul. I’m so happy we found this little gem. I’ve never been to a more beautiful place!

A beautiful venue, the property is what you expect to see in Tuscany. Located close to many small towns within close driving distance. Some of the roads are challenging. We opted to not drive at night.
Breakfast was wonderful as were the people we dealt with.

At the time of year we went (October) Livorno is fairly quiet which suited us. There's plenty to see and do if you want to stay in the city but it is also well connected by train to Pisa, Lucca Florence and Rome if you have time. There's also the hop on hop off service, canal boat tours, seaside walks and good quality restaurants. Well worth a trip! Try and avoid the cruise crowds when possible!
