I have visited Cozumel via cruise ships for the purpose of diving. I decided to fly and stay in Cozumel for some diving specialty courses. I brought my wife to Mexico for the first time and she loved Cozumel and this hotel. She's happy and so am I. The breakfast is the best I ever had staying at a hotel. The location is great too. We could walk to many of the reasonably priced restaurants. The ocean view was inspiring. The hotel made every effort on maintenance and appearance of the hotel. I look forward to staying at this hotel again.

We were so pleased to find ourselves at the Wyndham Trademark Hotel on Cozumel. It provided a gentle, welcoming environment after a busy, frenetic day of travel. The staff support in reception was so helpful and welcoming. That same support was present in all the staff members we encountered. This is not a new hotel, and she’s showing some age, but the setting and staff and amenities, including pool area abd breakfast abd beach overlook, made up for any details in age. This is a hood place to stay!

Nice hotel for the kids. They enjoyed the kids pool area! During our stay there were always lounge chairs available, the pools were always clean. The beach area was nice. Did not see any seaweed in Cozumel. It’s a smaller resort for families! All in all our stay was relaxing! If you want to party it’s not a good spot for you. There is a club open until I believe 2am but was almost empty the days we were there. One of the days we went there were about 20 people so it was better!

The hotel is very well located on the island of Cozumel. It is in short walking distance to the promenade and the ferry that connects the island to the mainland (Playa del Carmen). The room is very spacious, modernly furnished, and exceptionally clean and tidy. I enjoyed in particular the nice and generously sized balcony. Especially the good communication with the hotel in regard to individual queries but also the general check in and out process has to be mentioned.

This hotel is perfect for what I needed it for. It was close enough to the main strip of Cozumel but not so close that I felt inundated by the rest of the tourists in the area. As a New Yorker I walk everywhere so being a few blocks from the water was not a problem and the staff was helpful in helping us find whatever we need. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable which was the most important for us after coming out of a jungle camping experience inland.

Location is about the only thing that is very good. The rest is simply not up to par. Best to go elsewhere and spend more money-or you will ruin your vacation. I’m not joking. We live in Cozumel and wanted to have a “staycation” over the NYE holiday for 3 nights. Run down rooms and facilities. And terrible food breakfast, lunch and dinner. Buffet is like bad dorm food from college 35 years ago. Sit down restaurant only at dinner, 3 out of 5, but not many options.

Mi Refugio is a friendly hostel with a focus on diving. It has six dorm beds in two spacious rooms and a private double bed room, all with showers. So not crowded and it has a kitchen so people often cook and socialize together. It is next to the market and local shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the playa-ferry. Good value compared to other accommodation options in Cozumel, and a great choice for learning scuba and diving.

The hotel was great. Staff friendly and helpful. The beach, the water, the views, and the snorkleing were excellent! The food was good. Dive shop steps away to rent snorkle gear. The hotel choice could not have been better. Clean, quiet, and relaxing. We met quite a few people who come to Cozumel and stay at the Playa Azul every time. Room 101, the ground floor, 10 steps to the beach with great chairs and umbrella, was the bomb.

Pepe and Rudy are such sweet hosts! We also had a great group of people staying there, we had beers every night together, really felt like home. The place is still relatively new and in the more local area away from the super touristy bit of Cozumel, which we really enjoyed. It’s a hostel with 1 private room, which we stayed in. We had an amazing time and would go back there in an instant. The dog is also super cute :)

We had such a great experience at Hotel Villas Colibri Suites & Bungalows that we ended up extending our stay more than once! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location is perfect for exploring Cozumel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. It felt like home away from home. Highly recommended – we’d definitely come back!

The hosts are very friendly and helpful with recommendations and any silly questions you may have about Cozumel or Mexico. The room has everything you need, a large bottle of water included, coffee maker and cooking equipment. Location is nice with small shops and cafes around but you will need a scooter on cozumel. The hosts will recommend a rental which is good and offers a good price.

Kippal is a great property in the heart of Cozumel. If you want something other than an all-inclusive resort, Kippal is a great choice. High end property, staff are attentive and friendly, building is well appointed, roof top pool is awesome, and the apartment is spacious and the balcony is great. You can walk to anything and everything in town. And Mingo’s Place is right next door.

We liked the location as we wanted to stay far away from crowd and big hotels. It was perfect, as very quiet and close to the east side of Cozumel that is the best. And the breakfests were amazing. We did not try dinners, but I am sure they were delicious, too. Bianca and Diana were the best. All communication was good and in English. Thank you so much! Muchas gracias :)

Everything was clean and tidy! The perfect stay for friends, close to everything. A walking distance from the city center + the marine. we felt very safe in the apartment. The hosts were amazing, very quick to answer and helped us get in personally when we got there. Amazing stay and would definitely stay there again if I’m ever again in Cozumel! Very recommended 🙏🏼

Very centrally located and close to ferries. The owner and the staff were super. They gave us lots of advices and recommendations and they were ready and willing to help us all the time. Lovely boutique hotel in the center of Cozumel. I was in Mexico for 3 weeks - this was the cleanest hotel I visited. Complementary breakfast is great. Stuff is very helpful, speaks english which is rare in Mexico. Localisation is also amazing, next to the old town, and 5 minutes walk from ferry. I would love to come back again to this place.

We spent such a wonderful time at the hotel and made tons of beautiful pictures)! The breakfast was great! Bath tub and jacuzzy were just wow) Such a unique place with great vibe and attentive hosts! We were in Cozumel with the bicycles so it wasnt a problem for us to get there in 10 min from the center.

Great place to stay and commute from. Communication with the owner went really well and the apartment served as a great spot to easily explore the town, get a ride somewhere and just to hang out and enjoy the view. I really regretted not to have stayed longer and how to visit Cozumel again…

This hotel is right in the middle of everything in Cozumel and right on the beach. Every room has a balcony and a view of the Caribbean. There are plenty of attractions, restaurants and stores within walking distance. And if you forgot ANYthing, there's a Mega store across the street.
