The location was wonderful. I was able to walk from the train station to the hotel easily. I was able to check in as soon as I arrived. Because of the location of the hotel, I easily was able to tour the town and visit the whaling museum. The next day, I had to leave very early for the airport and the hotel staff helped me reserve a taxi which I really appreciated.

Dating back to 1914, this hotel is a 3 minute walk from Sandefjord Station. It offers free afternoon waffles with tea/coffee, a free evening buffet, plus free sauna and gym access.

This hotel is so unique. It's not a modern building, however the staff is so amazing they make you feel at home. There is a very nice breakfast and dinner, moreover from 3-5pm you can have a cake with your tea in the lounge where tea is available for free 24/7. After exploring the area in winter it's really nice to come back to a cozy, warm room.
