Location is excellent with everything in walking distance and the bus terminal is next door. Thankfully I got a quite big room, and I really liked the breakfast buffet.

Everything was perfect for g getaway hotel but still near the downtown by car omar in the reception was very helpful and tried to help us as much as he could with an issue we faced outside the hotel Good variety for breakfast the swimming pool area is quite nice would stay again definitely

We love that is just in front of the islands and has its own transport. Loved the pool and the buffet which was spectacular with so many options for everyone.

They were so accomodating. We came by bus and they arranged a ride for us - at 1:50 a.m. (in a Mercedes - woot woot). We were met at reception by a very lively and helpful gentleman. Rooms are amazing. Breakfast was included and really good. Lots of variety.

We loved the pool It is a was quiet place and the we found the beds comfy. It was a mini fridge which we appreciated We only stayed one night because we had an early flight the next morning We did not try the included breakfast It takes only 5 to 10 minutes within taxi/Uber from the hotel to the airport. We had a room with three single beds.

It is very clean and the stuff are professional, we had too many choices on the breakfast as well. If you find it available just take it without thinking

Loved everything about my stay at the property. The reception and bar area are first class with a lovely outside terrace that looks directly out to sea. The breakfast room and breakfast itself was fantastic, the room was spacious with lots of seating and the breakfast had loads of hot and cold variety. The rooms were stylish and spacious and the TV channel choices were excellent showing all the spot, F1 and MotoGP within the room. The shower was absolutely superb, very hot and powerful and was very welcome after a long day out.

Beautiful clean rooms, the hotel is newly renovated and has a decent view from the balcony. We loved the modern design and would definitely come back again!

We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. The location is excellent: a quiet area but only a few minutes walk from the city center. The staff was just amazing, so friendly and helpful: both even before our trip started (promptly helping us to deal with our flight cancellation), and also during our stay. The breakfast was very nice, and the dinner meals were just super! Having live relaxing piano music at breakfast was also very nice! We also enjoyed using the gym and the sauna. We were there in late October, so the average age of the visitors was about 70, though there were quite a few young couples as well. We also used their transfer from the airport service, which worked very well, despite a very long delay in our flight

Everything and everyone was just perfect! The location across the street from the marina and five minutes walk from the old city and the breakfast was fantastic and rich it covers mostly everything! And five minutes walk from the train station you don't need a taxi even if you have luggage.free shuttle to the beach and the employees were very nice and we don't forget the roof top to have your coffee in the morning or a drink at night

Not our first stay in Faro, but our first stay in Hotel Sol Algarve. Excellent location, close enough to everything Faro has to offer, but just far enough away to be quiet when you want it to be. Facilities and staff all first class class (although I can't comment on the breakfast as we sleep to late to take advantage of it) If you're looking for a great value place to stay for a short break in Faro, you can't go far wrong here.
