Large pool area that was well tended to by staff providing drinks. Free onsite parking. An easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Be well aware when booking with children to very clearly state their ages on the booking. We booked for two adults and two children (using their correct ages) however upon checkin we were charged an additional €50 per child on top of the room rate for them to share a pull out sofa. Not sure if the issue lies with booking.com or the hotel itself but this definitely put a dampener on the stay. That aside very nice stay in a spacious and well laid out room, in a hotel with great facilities.

Quinta das Lágrimas offers 3 room types: Palace Rooms once accommodated the Duke of Wellington and Garden Rooms overlook the botanical garden. 我们夫妻俩以前在学校里学的是俄语，不懂英语，前台的工作人员非常耐心地通过我手机上的翻译软件，详细介绍酒店的情况，眼泪庄园的前世今生，凡是需要我们了解的信息，工作人员就做了耐心细致的讲解。我为我们不懂英语，为工作人员添了很多麻烦感到抱歉，工作人员说通过翻译软件这种方式同入住的客人交流，也挺有意思的。非常感谢工作人员的理解和帮助！酒店的晚餐也非常好，服务周到，非常满意。喜欢这家酒店，只是时间太过仓促，在酒店只住了一晚，但美好感受会永远留在我的记忆里。

Even though most of the staff did not speak English and I did not speak my Portuguese, we still communicated well with each other. I so appreciated the owner's consideration for my comfort and his staff seems to have the same sentiment. The location is away from the noises of the city which adds to the therapeutic feeling while you're there. You can easily drive to Coimbra about 20 minutes away and enjoy the quiet roads along the way. The restaurant is classy and has a big menu. I ordered the sliced cod which ended up being too salty and fishy-tasting. I don't know if it is the recipe or if the recipe needs to be adjusted. The service was excellent and their wine selection is impressive.

The rooms are not huge but they're just what I needed, I really really loved this place I would definitely come back. 🔅🙏💮
