We stayed in a junior suit that was nicely spacious, the bed & the pillows were beyond comfortable. Also breakfast and drinks at the bar were great.

Any question, restaurant advise, island do's and dont's, car rent at best prices, free parking - are merely couple of the things that can be organized for you at no time in this hotel. Kindness and availability of the staff to share tips in Funchal, design of the hotel, comfortable beds. Breakfast was of high quality and served at table which made the experience even more pleasure.

Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. The staff including Managers were very pleasant, accommodating and spoke perfect english. We travelled with our family of seven using 3 rooms. The breakfast was fantastic offering, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, coffees and my favourite freshly squeezed orange juice to name a few items. Our rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Separate large rooms for both the toilet and walk in shower. We had a great view of the sea port where the cruise ships were docked. The Vine has the best location in Funchal and is an easy walk to many attractions. This was my second visit to the Vine.

The pictures do not do the property justice, it’s an amazing place to stay, from the moment you walk in the door you feel cozy in a very spacious setting. And the staff, they were all just wonderful, specially Margerida at front desk. Also, it’s a great location to do some exploring in the area and it’s near to different hiking trails (by car).
