Vila Belvedere is a boutique hotel in the centre of Galati, overlooking the Danube River. Free WiFi is available. First night I spent in the one top room with a balcony and view to the Danube. Later that room was occupied and I changed to another house, which meant walking via garden to breakfast room. That room was a bit cheaper, but not the same view and direct access to breakfast place anymore. But still all in all very good. Best value is receptionist going really out of her way to get some information in town needed as well as trying to find the best way to travel further to Moldova. That was of big help.

The rooms are big and very clean. The personal is friendly. The breakfast is served in the Bar Docks right next to the hotel. You can choose what you want to have (a la card)
