The view is really stunning. The staff is polite, friendly and welcoming, doing their best to make your stay perfect and they even try to accommodate for special requests and we did have a lovely chat in the evening. Their food was really good and getting a vegetarian option was never a problem.

I am not sure anything I would write would do justice to this place.....The real luxury came from the Staff at Sambora. They are simply unique and impossible to forget. Their kindness, communicative smiles, generosity, attention to details, their joy (the dancers put a smile on your face from the moment you arrive), talent (the Chef is wonderful), and sympathy....I could go on and on.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. All the staff were incredible. So many thoughtful little touches. The food was AMAZING. The lodge itself has a lovely vibe and it's in a perfect location for accessing the park and exploring the area. Would return in a heart beat.

Exceptional service. They went above and beyond in making sure our stay was comfortable and helped us navigate the logistics of visiting volcano national park. We also felt at home since the staff was very warm and welcoming. The cottage is also beautiful, it has a nice garden with views of the volcanoes and very tastful interior design.

Kinigi Cottage is quite the little stylish gem with lots of charm. They offered us delicious dinner and breakfast. The house and rooms are comfy and decorated well. The host and staff were all wonderful. We had an excellent stay.

Couldn't have been better. Great views of the volcanoes in both directions from the cottage - Sabyinyo and Gahinga from the front and Bisoke and Karisimbi from the back. Lovely room, big bed. Joachim and his local staff are lovely and very helpful. Really good food and help arranging local tours. This couldn't have been better. It felt like I was staying with friends. I am leaving now and already want to come back.

The friendliness of the staff and the beautiful views and location is really exceptional for this accommodation. You could immediately feel at home. You can take great walks around the guesthouse and it is nice and quiet. The food was also lovely.
