Nice rooms, love the heated bathroom floor and wet clothes drying cabinet. Great TV to cast programs to, very quiet. And of course, the Olympic and World Cup memorabilia in the lobby. Excellent restaurant atmosphere, Breakfast was typical Swedish, lots of choices, and tasty.

The hotel was very cute, and the staff was kind and warm. We liked that they called ahead to ask if we wanted them to prepare a crib for our baby. The dinner and breakfast were good, and the atmosphere was great. We had a lovely time!

One of the great camping destination in Dalarna, with variety of things to enjoy during your stay. We enjoyed cycling, boating and indoor golf. Children spent lot of time with big trampoline and cycling

Beautiful location overlooking Lake Siljan.
Beautiful location overlooking Lake Siljan. There is safe access to the water at the lakeside. Tallberg comprises mainly hotels and private residences so there is not a lot to do there, but it is extremely relaxing and probably much busier in high season. June is a great time to visit. Road links to nearby Rattvik and Leksand are good and there are many restaurants and shops in both towns. Rattvik is a lively place.
Tallberg is an ideal base to explore the Dallarnas region and not far to pop into Norway should you choose

A fantastic mix of great sceneries, sports and culture with time for shopping (both Dalahästar and clothes), beautiful visit of a fantastic nature less than 20 min away, great view from the Gesunda mountain (worth the effort walking uphill!) Boatride on the Siljan lake (and/or a swim) and a visit to the ice cream boat by the lake on a sunny day is a must...!

I have visited Falun a few times before and I will certainly...
I have visited Falun a few times before and I will certainly do so again. It is still a safe town to me as a tourist. I did travel around and this cannot be said about all cities. The Swedish people I met are exceptional in their courtesy and politeness. I also like the Irish bar and the Sports bar that serves the amazing schnitzel. Will be visiting again early next year.

Rättvik is a nice small friendly town.
Rättvik is a nice small friendly town. Good choice of restaurants for all budgets. There is a market on fridays. The beach is nice, and the pier is impressive. During our stay it was 'Classic Car week,' It was very lively with thousands lining the streets to watch the old American cars on the drive-by parade.
If you have a car, drive to the neighbouring village Tällberg (approx. 4 km south of Rättvik), the view at the top of the village is absolutely stunning.
The small towns of Mora, Leksand and Orsa are also worth a visit.

It's a small town, quiet and somewhat dull.
It's a small town, quiet and somewhat dull. In about a 10-to 15-minute walk, you can cover the entire centre. We were there on a Sunday evening, and it was very empty everywhere. There was hardly anywhere to eat... It's very close to Mora, so within 20 minutes, you can get to some restaurants and attractions. The area itself is beautiful in terms of nature and scenery.

This is a great place for a real break from worries and business. Complete solitude in this place completely frees the mind from all problems. It may seem too quiet to some. But in winter, it's a real paradise.

Rattvik is a small town with lovely bars and restaurants. The lakeside area is beautiful and plenty to do around the lake area either walking down the long pier or enjoying the beach or swimming. Weather was amazing during our stay.

We could have stayed another day. Relaxing summer vacation town. Clean well kept. Quirky shops. Enough food places to offer choice. No fast food outlets which was great. Lovely little Asian restaurant up a side street offered buffet . People queuing for a seat. Brilliant pop up bar with food just outside station. Cinema thought we did not see it. Super helpful tourist information centre. Walkable area . More than suitable for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. Cannot recommend this town highly enough. We only stayed two nights . That was planned . Went to a fab concert in Dalhalla nearby
