The beds are comfy. The price was ridiculous.
Los Angeles

The beds are comfy. The price was ridiculous. Is too congested right next to McDonald you have to pay for parking and your guest. I never had to pay for parking while being a guest. They give you breakfast vouchers if you pay for breakfast. To keep tabs on who paid for breakfast. They have no microwaves in the rooms. They have only two microwaves in the facility for you to warm up food. They want you to pay for everything here. Everything is money, money money washing is four dollars drying is four dollars. I spent a total of $16 for my clothes. Still not to get dry for 45 minutes. It's ridiculous. I would not recommend this hotel run 🏃🏼‍♀️Found a roach in the room our last day just terrible. I needed service at night I had to call more than once for an answer. Taxi are next to McDonalds.

San Diego

We stayed a day and a half on our way to and from Hawaii. We experienced a lot without spending a lot. Stayed at Wyndham Bayfront. On/Off trolly was great to sample surrounding areas. Accommodations bayfront allowed for lots of walking to & from dining and sites. Returning trip we spent time in La Jolla. We stayed at Paradise Point Resort which was well located to La Jollla sights

Anahiem is a very clean city.
Anaheim

Anahiem is a very clean city. Parking in the Anaheim area around Disneyland can be a bit pricey either at hotels or even public parking. The public transportation Buses (OC Buses) are frequent and easy to use. You can download the APP to pay fares and check schedules or you can check the Schedules and Routes on Google Maps. Payment on the buses can either be though the APP, Cash or Credit / Debit Card on the bus. For me as an international traveler, I was unable to download the APP but I used credit card which allowed the same 2hr Transfer window and $5 Daily Fare Cap just like the APP / WAVE card

Mid week, the touristy areas are much less crowded.
Monterey

Mid week, the touristy areas are much less crowded. Easy to navigate, easy to find parking, etc.The place is just magic, especially if you go beyond the confines of Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. Alvarado street in downtown is a delight! The specialty ice cream shop always has a line...its that good. By Thursday, the crowds start coming in and the touristy areas become difficult to navigate or find parking that doesn't cost the price of a good meal.

Inglewood

I chose this location since it was close to the Airport. I was not really in town to be in Inglewood. I came to Los Angeles to help out a family member. She was in Santa Monica, which was fairly close. Inglewood looks ok from the little bit I saw of it.

South Lake Tahoe

Gorgeous!!!! Views breathtaking with all the trails and blue dreamy water you would need for a little getaway. So clean and so fresh!! Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe should be on your bucket list. A friendly reminder to reserve ahead of time for your parking spot as they will close the entrance once filled.

Long Beach

Long Beach is such an inviting and relaxing place to unwind. After checking in to the Hyatt Regency, we stopped for lunch across the street. We enjoyed a hearty and delicious lunch at Island's Restaurant. We ordered a Maui Burger, the Moa Crisp, and the Longboarder. All excellent! After sunset, we spent an hour at Rainbow Lagoon Park paddling on the darling Swan Boats. The Swans light up at night & make for a very romantic date.

San Jose was a fun city to visit with lots of variety.
San Jose

San Jose was a fun city to visit with lots of variety. I really liked the food, the weather, and how many interesting places there were to explore, from museums to shopping areas like Santana Row. Downtown had a nice energy, and there were plenty of options for walking, eating, and spending time outdoors. The only downside was that some areas felt a little less safe or less convenient at night, so planning ahead helped. Overall, San Jose is a great place if you want a mix of city life, culture, and outdoor activities.
