Maryland

Maryland’s best-known treasure is the Chesapeake Bay – a seafood-rich coastline that shapes the state’s identity. Known for blue crabs, maritime towns, and living history, Maryland offers compact adventures. Families find sandy beaches and kid-friendly museums, while solo travelers enjoy historic streets, craft breweries, and easy access to Washington DC.

Top highlights are the Chesapeake Bay and Assateague’s horses. Don’t miss a crab feast or kayak tour. Stay in Baltimore for museums and harbor access, Annapolis for sailing and history, and Ocean City for beaches and family fun and easy day trips.

This place was amazing !! The employees were so nice and accommodating to what ever your needs were. They kept everything so clean. We stayed for 5 nights and everyday they came in and straighten up , changed out trash and gave us fresh towels. The rooms were so comfy and quiet . We heard hardly any noise and smelled no smoking which was a huge plus. You can walk to everything from this location. It was so nice to just park the truck and go to the boardwalk and come back for a nap and go back without any hassle at all.

Close enough to the board walk that the kids and I could ride bike everywhere!! Also a fun part of town to walk around, a class walk to the beach and also a close walk to several good food & ice cream places, as well as jolly Rodger’s amusement park which is free to enter and walk around. Also loved the no carpet in the rooms! Over all a great experience! We’ll be back

Everything was to high priced.
Ocean City

Everything was to high priced. I ordered a crap cake it was $22 and as small as a small sand dollar I was very disappointed about this I was really looking forward to a big lump crab cake. Also we had a bud light beer and a Malibu rum and pineapple juice$20 dollars plus a tip that's ridiculous. Bud light draft and a glass of Moscato wine $16.

National Harbor

I love everything about the National Harbor! Id rather stay there and attend events there than in DC. Just my preference. Several great restaurants in National Harbor. This time we frequented Cadillac Ranch restaurant, within walking distance from the Hampton Inn & Suites! Excellent food quality, delicious food, and excellent service! We ate there both days of our stay! Wonderful experience! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Columbia

Columbia is located perfectly, depending in traffic, you can be in Washington D.C., Baltimore, or Annapolis in a short time. The city itself is quiet and not congested at all. Plus the variety of dinner experiences is very enjoyable. I haven't had even a mediocre meal let a lone a bad one in all my visits over the years.

Frederick

Frederick used to be a small farming community when I lived not-too-far away. It is a sprawling, 2nd largest city (in Md) behind Baltimore, grown up city now. Lots of things to do, see, explore. No longer a small farming town but a much more diverse city (w/mild traffic) now. I enjoyed my stay & will return.
