This was the absolute best place we stayed on our tour up the Lake Michigan coast of Michigan ! When we opened the door to our Victorian room, I thought I was at the Grand Hotel. Breakfast in bed was absolutely divine..so much food and all home made and delicious. We just drove down the main road to the water and watched the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen with the ferry coming over from Wisconsin. Do not miss this place if you are in Ludington.

Hotel was quiet & private. Room was just right & clean. Tub/shower could use an update, but it was clean & met our needs. Loved the small sofa in the room. Our stay was short because we were taking the Badger across Lake Michigan. Excellent location. Easily walkable to town & restaurants. Stearns Beach was great. Shallow swimming area, clean sand & water. Great location for sunset, too.

The location of the property is amazing for families. To be able to walk out onto a beach was wonderful. And even when windy, it’s fairly sheltered (unlike the “coast” of Lake Michigan). Kids played from morning to sunset. Utter bliss. So as long as you are prepared that your day will start and finish when the other residents go to sleep or wake up, and not to order food, it’s actually a gem of a find.

What a fancy, clean, new and well designed hotel. It looks and smells great. The room is spacious and modern. The bed is very comfortable. Good location. I was amazed by what they charge(Affordable). it Exceeded my expectation and I will definitely go back again if I'm in Michigan. I recommend it to everyone- you won't be disappointed. The hotel is just PERFECT !!! It's actually deserves 5 stars.

The stay was pleasant - the breakfast had good choices, well stocked but fairly standard fare, with the ubiquitous but not-trendy-anymore 'pancake printer'. Location was pretty good if you wanted, as we did, to use it as a launching point to other south Michigan places/locales. In addition it was a straight shot to downtown shops/restaurants. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

We had a great stay. The hotel is located right next to the Michigan Avenue People Mover stop, which takes you to many great areas of the city. We walked to Comerica Park in 10 minutes. The area outside the hotel is clean and we always felt safe walking around. It was my teenage children's first time in Detroit and they loved it. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here two years ago and really liked the place. We were back in the area, and were excited stay at Terrace Bay, again. The back-of-the-hotel rooms are now updated, to include a wall of windows looking onto Lake Michigan's Little Bay de Noc! The restaurant has a wonderful menu and great staff. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Baywatch exceeded my expectations regarding cleanliness. Beautiful, calming, decor. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Best private beach I have been to, in Michigan. The staff continued to communicate with me throughout my trip to ensure we were still enjoying ourselves. (Awesome touch) We loved the resort. Highly recommend!!!!!

This place had a very comfortable king size bed and lots of good pillows. It was clean and up to date furnishing, much like a nice hotel. Lots of room too, large tv/ wifi, even a washer and dryer, I like the location, Quiet away from the busiest parts of Saugatuck. easy access to travel to other parts of Michigan.

The Hotel is so beautiful. Being able to see Lake Michigan from our room is so peaceful. The Hotel staff is so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is a great experience. I would highly recommend staying here. This was my 2nd stay and I look forward to many more stays at the Hotel.

Best room and value of any hotel we've stayed in during our 2 week adventure through Michigan. Room was huge and the shower was big with great water pressure. The breakfast delivery to your room is a great idea, no fighting other guests in the buffet line and hoping you can find a place to sit!

Bed was comfy and room was very clean. Was very quiet in peaceful when in the room. Let us check in early. Hotel seemed renovated and smelled very nice. was a good value for the money. Decent lcentral location for Michigan's Adventure, Many beaches and state parks.

Location was close to the towns we wanted to visit while in Michigan passing through on our road trip. We stayed two nights to explore the area a bit. Room was clean, it was quiet, there is a fire pit out front you can use, parking right infront of room which is nice.

I was happy with everything. HOWEVER, I MUST APOLOGIZE... In a previous review that I submitted - a bad review - I mistook this hotel for a different one in Michigan that I stayed in later. I got the names mixed up and I have maligned this hotel by mistake.

We stay at Great Lakes every time we go to Michigan. Or at least we try to if it's not booked already. We LOVE the location. Staying in the suites is my favorite but they were booked. It's not your upscale hotel but it has just what we need and want.

Big rooms, a nice fitness room, friendly staff and the best breakfast we‘ve had so far while traveling all around lake michigan. Compared to all the other hotels (near the lake) this one was high class. Perfect for one night if heading over to Detroit.

We traveled around Superior Lake and explore Ontario (Canadian), Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan parts of this Lake. We stayed in this hotel on our way to Pictured Rocks National park. Location was good, Room was clean and staff was friendly.

The hostel is located right next to Michigan Ave, which provides some very cool bar and dining options. The bed and bathrooms were clean and overall the hostel was very comfy. The staff was very nice and gave us recommendations.

Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the coffee stand and cookies in the lobby. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was in a convenient location for visiting University of Michigan.

Very friendly staff, always have a clean, comforting experience at this hotel, best value in Michigan. Like the in-room coffee, comfortable bed, cleanliness of room and surroundings outside.
