Very clean and well maintained property. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. It’s literally on the board walk and easy accessible. Plenty of parking inside and outside. The rooms are big, renovated, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchenette had everything one would require for cooking. The hotel also has a restaurant onsite.

We really enjoyed our visit to Atlantic City, especially...
Atlantic City

We really enjoyed our visit to Atlantic City, especially walking along the wooden boardwalk by the ocean in the evening. The atmosphere was lively and relaxing, and I would definitely recommend riding the Ferris wheel for the beautiful views. One thing to keep in mind is that the ocean can be quite rough and wavy. If you are hoping to swim calmly or snorkel, the conditions may not be ideal; you may end up mostly enjoying and playing in the waves. However, the beach itself is excellent—very wide, clean, and covered with soft, fine sand. We also visited nearby Ocean City. Its neighborhoods, surroundings, and houses felt more charming and attractive, but in our opinion, Atlantic City had the better beach. We also took a trip to Cape May for a whale-watching tour. Unfortunately, we did not see any whales, but Cape May itself was still beautiful and definitely worth visiting. Overall, Atlantic City is a fun destination with a great beach, an enjoyable boardwalk, and several interesting places nearby.

The boardwalk is amazing as usual so is the beach very clean for the most part we walked about 15 to 20 miles a day.we we're never in are hotel except for showers and sleep. Definitely the perfect getaway not a lot of riff raff will be going back for Labor day. It's definitely a place you need to experience no place like it on earth.

Secaucus is a great alternative to Manhattan. The parking is ample and free, you can drive to many great bars and restaurants. So many choices to eat and drink, a movie theater is merely 5 minutes away.

If you are travelling as group with limited budget to see...
Newark

If you are travelling as group with limited budget to see the main attractions of NYC, then choosing Newark seems the best option. Living anywhere inside the NYC is very expensive and does not offer much of an advantage compare to living somewhere 30 minutes a away, i.e., Newark. Newark Penn station is a major train hub and takes you anywhere close or far. It's also is major bus/coach station. From here, downtown NYC is 30 minutes away by subway. You can go to long island within an hour. The neighbourhood is a mix of Portuguese, Spanish, Mexicans and other south americans. That means great and lot of eating options from bakeries to bars and tavernas and eateries. It offers more reasonably priced options to stay. Best avoid driving into the NYC as it includes tolls either way crossing the tunnels or bridges.

A lot of regeneration going on so there are some very high class areas not far from the run down areas that are in need of an uplift, but overall a nice place and the riverside overlooking NYC is unreal.

We really enjoyed our first trip ever to the Jersey Shore!
Wildwood Crest

We really enjoyed our first trip ever to the Jersey Shore! Saratoga Resort was a perfect match for our needs - relatively affordable, wonderful staff, clean room, great location in terms of the beach. We had a car, which meant easy access to nature/active pursuits such as hiking and kayaking closer to Cape May. We are not "young," but we are active and appreciated the opportunity to take long, interesting walks, both peaceful and entertaining (boardwalk!). Being vegetarians, we were a bit challenged by food options in the area. It was hard to find restaurants that offered plant-based meal options. Our favorite breakfast spot ended up being the Aladdin Cafe at our very own hotel spot!

Cape May is a beautiful and peaceful retreat on the Jersey shore. If you are a nature lover, a photographer, interested in history or architecture you will fall in love with this place. It can be a bit crowded and pricey in season but just as lovely off season.

We went there to attend the World cup game. Getting around was easy but expensive. Probably treble normal prices. Bars had also increased their prices to be in on the action. However the game was excellent. The MetLife stadium needs more washrooms!!
