Top highlights are the Jersey Shore beaches and views of the Statue of Liberty from Liberty State Park. Don’t miss a sunset ferry or ride along a bustling boardwalk. Stay in Jersey City for Manhattan access, Cape May for Victorian charm and family beaches, and Princeton for college-town culture, museums, and trips.

Very clean and well maintained property. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. It’s literally on the board walk and easy accessible. Plenty of parking inside and outside. The rooms are big, renovated, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchenette had everything one would require for cooking. The hotel also has a restaurant onsite.

I loved how close we were to the beach, as well as all of the shops, and different food options all inside the hotel. My check in was super fast and easy, staff were exceptional, my room was awesome and my bathroom was HUGE. I will definitely be making a return trip as soon as possible. It was just an all out wonderful hotel.

Atlantic City is a good option for a weekend trip.
Atlantic City

Atlantic City is a good option for a weekend trip. There are some good local restaurants and even if you choose to stay within the property, there is enough to do for a two day vacation. The beach is very accessible from the Tropicana and there is the option of a pool. I did not use the latter. The crowd at the Trop were mostly working folks who smiled, made small talk and enjoyed being friendly. Really one of the best parts of the trip.

Wildwood is a very active family vacation destination.
Wildwood

Wildwood is a very active family vacation destination. Lot of places to eat, see and do on the boardwalk. The walk to the beach front from the boardwalk is outrageously long and hot. But that wildwood for you..!! The only negative is seeing two port-a-potties near the beach front where I setup my encampment next to thousands of visitors coming and going to the water ...really!!!!

Jersey City

I know it's supposed to be a jumping off point for NYC, but there are a lot of things there that are probably worth visiting in their own right. Catching a show at the Art House, or heading for any of the restaurants in the art district surrounding it, and you'll probably find other things too if you run around. The Green Park down by Exchange Place, for example, seems like a good place to go with kids in the summer, though it was too cold for me to go.

We went there to attend the World cup game. Getting around was easy but expensive. Probably treble normal prices. Bars had also increased their prices to be in on the action. However the game was excellent. The MetLife stadium needs more washrooms!!

Wildwood Crest

We haven't been down to wildwood crest in probably over ten years. I was reluctant to go, back then area was more like hang out. Many of the hotels were just run down. We were pleasantly surprised how nice the area was/is. It might depend on the week you go. We were there for a weekend convention. The beaches were beautiful and plenty of pay parking. The hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was pleasant. We would definitely go again for a little longer this time.

Seaside Heights

Seaside Heights is a good place for families. The boardwalks and beaches are clean and safe. There is a beach where dogs can go, south of the boardwalk. It's not that far of a drive and we're glad our puppy could go. Recommend getting up early to catch the sunrise.
