We have been going to showboat every year since 2017. This year the rooms in the bourbon tower were completely renovated (I dont know about Orleans tower where we stayed last year) the lobby had very exiting activity for my grandkids. The hotel doesn't have a casino which makes safer security wise and for the kids to move without being exposed to gambling environment.

Atlantic City

The pool was broke and 3 out of 4 of the elevators didn't work on the solana side. Upon check out the garage elevator line was so long multiple people (including myself) had to walk up the ramp to the garage. 2 flights. For the amount that was spent it should have been more accommodating. Bathroom was dirty

Newark has changed so much over the years.
Newark

Newark has changed so much over the years. There are cute little parks to walk your dog and downtown seems relatively safe. It was great to have a Whole Foods grocery store close by. There's an excellent amount of public transit including a light rail. And, best of all, easy access to NYC.

Jersey City

Jersey city was a great spot to stay for our NYC trip. Just a 1 stop PATH train stop to Manhattan meant we could get a great size apartment for a family of 4 for a very reasonable price over the expensive Xmas/new year’s period. Very clean and quiet space to stay, with views of the Manhattan skyline.

Liked there were restaurants and stores around the hotel. First night we landed my luggage was stolen from the NJ United carousel. Very disheartening because I know what he was, but the police highly suggested I not go and try and retrieve it. Needless to say, it was never returned.

parking should be free its customers.
Elizabeth

parking should be free its customers. It cost us an extra $100 which we were unaware of the daily price of parking until we got the charge. There was nothing showing how much it will cost us for parking - transparency. towels / wash clothes seem to be in short supply ever time we asked, so we had to keep going back / forth. Staff was great in their jobs / helpful. Location was great.

Princeton

Princeton is a beautiful and interesting place to visit. There is so much history and art to explore and study . Such an accessible town to walk about. It's impossible to be bored here. Lots of attention to beauty and presentation: architecture and landscape . Since this was a family visit, I didn't have enough time to enjoy the musical offerings. We'll be back.
