The Inn is very cosy with tastefully furnished rooms. It is a great base to explore the island. Breakfast was the best we had anywhere in the US. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We also highly appreciated that were were allowed an early checkin as it was pouring rain upon arrival at the Inn.

This Federalist style boutique hotel in Newport, Rhode Island is just a 10-minute walk from the scenic Cliff Walk and beach. It features individually themed rooms and on-site parking. This inn was perfect for us. First time visitors to Newport and the location was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and really helpful when it came to suggestions for places to visit or eat. Our room (the snuggery) was clean and inviting.. can't fault it at all. Was also a lovely atmosphere having fresh coffee and breakfast treats with other guests in the morning! Would recommend, and would definitely stay again if we are ever in Newport!

Wonderful shopping, and a good base for a short Rhode Island break
Providence offers a good base, for a glimpse of Rhode Island. The city itself has some good hotel, all centrally located. Providence Place is a fabulous city centre shopping mall.There are some interesting buildings in the city, especially the wonderfull State House. We also went to Newport one day, and enjoyed the magnificent cliff walk, which has the Oceon on one side and billionaire mansions like Vanderbilts on the other. I would recommend a short stay break in this area.

Near great shore towns Bristol, Newport. Yummy Italian food on Federal Hill. Water fires in the summer. Great colleges,Providence College and Brown University, Johnson and Wales, and Rhode Island school of design. There are some great historic buildings and history. There is also a great zoo close by.

Stayed at The Bristol Harbour Inn and found that it had the perfect location. Fantastic sunsets, great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Everyone we encountered were super friendly and happy to offer suggestions for our stay. We used Bristol as a base and visited Martha's Vineyard one of our days and a few beaches the following day. We also visited Blithewold Mansion Gardens and Aboretum - a must do for anyone visiting Bristol, Rhode Island.

I would not stay in a super 8 ever again The creamery up the road was great for breakfast 🍳 We were traveling from Rhode Island to the White Mountains in New Hampshire so didn't spend any time around

Providence is a lovely town with plenty to do.
Providence is a lovely town with plenty to do. The central downtown area is walkable and you can easily get to most of the major attractions. Take the free tour of Providence’s State House as it gives a great introduction to the city and allows up close access to an amazing building. Wander around Brown University and if you have time do a day tour of Newport to see the mansions from the Gilded Age. For food visit Federal Hill for great Italian at all prices. Wander into the local delis for a great Italian lunch for next to nothing. Providence has a thriving art scene so make time to see some of the local galleries and a visit to the Rhode Island School of Design is well worth it.

My Mom and I liked how it was easy access to the highway so that we can visit more of Rhode Island. It was fun how we got to see historic monuments and parks that were near our hotel. The rooms were very clean, and accessible from the 2nd floor!

The rooms are very, very clean with updated appointments and amenities. The room size is efficient, however adequate. The grounds are meticulously maintained and very colorful, with a wide variety of blooming plants and shrubs. The owners live on site and are attentive to your needs. They are also very friendly! The available bagged ice and bottled water was very convenient and saved us trips to the store. Of course, the location is just perfect. I highly recommend this property.

The rooms were in great locations. The restricted beach view room was right around the corner from a walkway to the beach so very convenient and the pool side room was at the end of a walkway close to our first room. We really did have the best of both worlds.
