I have found a piece of Paradise and experienced a true Tico hospitality at Cabinas Yafeth. It is located at Playa Caletas in the remote part of Osa Peninsula, between Drake Bay and Corcovado National Park. There are three cabins personally built and cared for by the loveley couple, Christian and Virginia, and their 12 year old son Yafeth. They live in the premises along with their extended family. Our largecabin was the newest with AC, modern toilet and hot water shower. Comfortable bed and pillows, and clean towels. All the wonderful meals were served in the dining area. Tea bags and hot water is offered along with filtered cold water dispenser. Cerveza is availavle to purchase. If you want to be in such a place, you must Stay here. You will wake up to the chirping of the birds and crashing waves at the beach. The cabinas are not oceanfront, and the beach is just 1-2 minutes down the path.

Located in Drake, a 5-minute walk from Colorada, Aguila de Osa Rainforest Lodge has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a restaurant.

Rooms were cleaned every day, beautiful location close to beach, has a/c and fridge in suite, staff super friendly and helpful, about a 10 min drive into drake bay. Recommend petting their adorable dogs and cat… worth it.

We loved the location, the beach, the staff and the food. We saw sloths, howler monkeys, agoti, coati, macaws, white face monkeys and many butterflies and birds all there at corcovado adventures.

Great spot with great views. AC worked well to keep the room cool and we appreciated the mini fridge.
