The apartments were located on a quiet street only a few steps away from shops and restaurants. The toilet paper was folded (much like what you would find at St Regis/ Ritz), shower heads turned away, welcome dessert & wine, tourist information provided (which really helped). Our host was amazing!! He was so friendly and allowed us free early check in (elderly + baby). What you get is a true reflection of what is provided in the photo!

Unfortunately we had bad luck with the weather and could not really enjoy the pool area and all the outdoor activities. The breakfast was nice too.

We booked a suite with balcony and nice views of the golf course. There were 2 outdoor pools which were too cold to use, and an additional large indoor heated pool which my daughter loved. The Michelin restaurants were closed since it was low season, only the pan Asian restaurant and the Spanish/Portuguese restaurants were open. Our room was newly renovated and very comfortable.

We have got free upgrade to 2 bedrooms suite with pool view and partial sea view. It was nice to have fully equipped kitchen ( no oil, salt or sugar). Water in the swimming pool was freezing. People at reception desk were nice and friendly. We liked this resort. We visited Azenhas do Mar, must see place, only 7 min drive there
