The location is great; small island in lake Bunyonyi, perfect to disconnect for some days from the busy Kampala. There is not much to do around, but that fits perfect if what you are looking for is peace and quiet. The lodge has a private swimming deck to the lake- highly recommended to go for a swim there! And shoutout to the library they have- it made by day when I got there. They also provide with free Black Tea in case you fancy that as companion to the reading, appart from the great views. The profits from the lodge go back to the island communities, so we paid dinner with pleasure.

Wycliffˋs Eco Lodge is a recently renovated villa in Kabale where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Spa facilities is available for guests.

We have been there 3 nights. We changed a room in the middle ( an upgrade ) both rooms were great ( number 7 was the best). The hotel has an amazing view, a serine environment with nice sitting areas where you can sit and eat/ have a drink in front of the view. Service was excellent and everybody were so nice and helpfull.We took the hotel kayaks to explore the lake (free for guest's use).

The location was very good, near the lake with a good view of Lake , clean, the breakfast was OK , the shower was good and we could wash all clothes and it had good sun for drying clothes

My king room with a lake view was lovely - roomy, and extra bed for luggage placement, shelving in the bathroom. The view was the most serene of our two week Uganda tour. The boat ride to the resort because the road was washed out was an added bonus . The food was very good, too.
