Apukka Resort ligger i Apukka, blot 15 minutters kørsel fra Rovaniemi. Overnatningsstedet har flere saunaer, herunder is-sauna, iglo-sauna samt bevægelige saunaer. We stayed in Kammi Igloo and it was spacious for a family of 4. The resort was huge with bonfire places, play area for kids, lake, etc. We also appreciate the free winter gear and boots during our stay. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is also a short drive to Santa Claus Village and Rovaniemi airport. It was truly a memorable trip for us.

Dette feriested ligger ved søen Kilpisjärvi ved motorvej E8, under 7 km fra den svenske og norske grænse. Spotlessly clean cabin with a stunning view of the birch forest and Saana Tunturi. The tap water was the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the cabin itself, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I’d love to come back someday!

Salla Wilderness Lodges ligger i Lapland Finland i Salla, 3,1 km fra Salla-bjerget. Overnatningsstedet har en restaurant, en terrasse og et boblebad. Alle værelser har en balkon. It is a charming city away from Rovaniemi, it was a bit of scary ride of 2h30min over snow and icy roads. But getting there, we love everything about the place, our room was perfect, the pictures are as true as the experience. We had our private sauna and jacuzzi which we spoiled ourselves everyday. Breakfast and dinner was nice at the receptiom. The place is near to all attraction ski and the middle of nowhere views. We will be returning as we are in love with everything here! We even saw the northern lights from our room.

Kurula's Resort ligger i Pyhätunturi, 18 km fra Amethyst Mine, og har et privat strandområde, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Absolutely loved our stay at Kurula's. We got the premium chalet that sleeps 4 even though it was just the 2 of us. It was extremely comfortable and not to mention luxurious. The room has a fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom and best of all, your own Sauna which we made full use of! The views from the balcony is nothing short of a postcard. If you are taking a car rental I would highly recommend staying at Kurula's VS the city center because even the drive is picturesque and well worth it. Dalia and Haili at the reception was extremely helpful and super friendly to talk to. They really want you to make most of your visit. Despite being far from the city center, it is very close to the amethyst mine which is a unique experience in itself. If lucky you would get to see the northern lights from your very own balcony if the clouds are not there. We can't wait to get back to experience other seasons there!

We have a great time there thanks to the owner Nina and her husband, they have effectively arranged everything as we like, we feel warmly welcomed and the resort is upscale, comfortable and home feeling for vacation

Ranua Resort Arctic Igloos tilbyder indkvartering i iglo i Ranua med imponerende udsigt over den finske Laplands himmel og den nærliggende sø Ranuanjärvi. Der er virkelig smukt - og meget roligt i sommermånederne. Personalet var supersøde og hjalp med en blæser, da der var for varmt i igloen.

He took us on a breathtaking walk on a frozen lake, sharing his expertise on measuring ice depth for snowmobile adventures. His son, Veeti, led us on an unforgettable Aurora Chase, setting up a romantic fire by the river and capturing stunning photos of the Northern Lights for us. Juha's daughter, Minja, was the heart of the gastronomical experience, ensuring every guest felt pampered. The culinary journey was exceptional, thanks to Chef Janne's exquisite dishes and desserts. His stories of Finnish resilience and warmth only added to the charm. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a Husky Wagon Ride, organized by the hotel, which was a thrilling experience with baby Huskies snuggled up in our laps by the fire and larger dogs pulling us through the snowy forests in -15°C temperatures. The Aurora Cabins were perfect, and we were lucky enough to witness the breathtaking Northern Lights from our cabin on 4 out of 6 nights. The Reindeer Feeding experience was a highlight, feeling like we discovered our spirit animals. We also enjoyed the Panoramic Sauna & the Jacuzzi experience in the negative tenperatures. The Jacuzzi located outside offered a view of the open sky & the forest in the backdrop & it truly felt like we were soaking in a pool of warmth amidst the winter wonderland. What sets Aurora Village Ivalo apart is the genuine love and care that the Tuunanen family pours into every aspect of the experience.

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available. I really can't find words that accurately describe the wonderful stay I had at NLV 🫶🏽 The staff was very friendly... from the guy who picked me up to take me to the hotel to those who served me at the hotel, the restaurant and the activity guides. The room is a dream...a wonderful aurora cabin, with incredible views and a magical atmosphere...I got cabin #1...it's quite far from the center of the village, but it's the best, because you have the whole forest to yourself. The cabin is small but has everything essential for a comfortable stay. Clean bathroom with shower and hot water! Large and comfortable bed to rest and heating to keep you warm. Living room, refrigerator with mini bar to spend free time. The restaurant hall is very large, the food delicious and lots of variety. I booked reindeer sledding, husky sledding, cross country skiing, snowmobile and aurora camp by the lake...all activities were excellent. Even if you don't book any activities, it's an excellent village to relax and experience the real winter in Finnish Lapland. I hope one day I can go back to NLV 🫶🏽

Set on a private beach area of Lake Iso-Vietonen, these cottages are within 50 minutes’ drive of Rovaniemi and Pello. Each features a private sauna, free WiFi and lake-view terrace. Exceptionally helpful and supportive staff. The helped with the planing. Also the food they serve is of greatest quality. Local food from Finland cooked in their own kitchen. Our chalet was very warm. We stayed in Reiki chalet which is great for 2 families with 4 kids.
