The staff are all very nice and we had a great time.

At the resort, every spacious room has a desk. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom with an open-air bath with a lake view and shower. At WE Hotel Toya, the rooms have a seating area. The facilities and decor were nice and shining new. The view from our room was spectacular. We booked a night with dinner and breakfast included, dinner was an 8-course japanese cuisine with a modern twist. We think it was (7/10). Breakfast was a traditional Japanese set meal with an all-you-can eat mini bar (9/10). Onsen was 10/10, nice and clean, it was a pleasure taking a bath with the view. Service was great and the reception was able to speak fluent mandarin, there were no communication barriers.

The staff were all very friendly and even took extra steps to decorate our room for our honeymoon, which was a pleasant bonus.

You are greeted by a lovely woody scent the moment you enter the place, as well as more staff who greet you. My family absolutely loooved the breakfast buffet! The onsen was also amazing and I went there every night. I also really liked the cute decor and furniture of the hotel lobby; each piece was unique but worked together well. My family really liked Kiki and I was sad to leave.

It offers hot spring baths, skiing lessons and massages. Free Wi-Fi is available. The rooms were spacious and private, breakfast offering was great and diverse, the onsens are amazing and have both indoor and outdoor baths. The massages were very relaxing. The hotel offers shuttle buses each day to and from popular ski and town locations. Ski hire can be booked through the hotel and delivered to the hotel ski lockers which made things a lot easier.

Featuring a hot-spring bath, a small shrine in the lobby and a restaurant serving freshly caught seafood, Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort is a 5-minute walk from Oronko Rock. Massages are available. The eat&drink-all-you-can dinner was delicious and the food was prepared on order. Menu varied for the two nights. View of the frozen port from the room was calming.

Its also a beautiful n lavishly appointed hotel and one of its many claims to fame is being the site of a G8 Summit hotel in 2008. It has many lovely restaurants, a great onsen plus a nice golf course to boot. Locals regard this hotel as Hokkaido's most prestigious hotel, and one can fully understand once you stay there. The staff are so professional and courteous fm the doorman to everyone you come into contact as they all seem so conscious they have a very high reputation to maintain as The Top hotel in the region.
