Older Resort could use upgrades on furniture and linen. Door handle needed fixing and light was out in the stairwell.

The apartment was out of date and several things needed to be repaired, including screen door locks, leaking ceiling, upstairs shower nozzle, kitchen supplies, etc. The apartment was not worth the charge.

The beach and amenities outside the apartment were very nice.

A number of the suites/villas are owned and lived in privately, so there is a small community of retirees who will take possession of many of the beach chairs by putting their towels down and reserving chairs for each other.

Beachfront location is perfect, full kitchen facilities, sun chairs. Taxis always available at the front, to take you anywhere. We were upgraded from a studio to a villa upon arrival.

Small things that can become very annoying after a few days like: - the mosquito nets slightly broken so we got eaten by the mozies - the light from the landing would be always on, and the door had windows, so we couldn't sleep because of the light - the fridge was so noisy that it would wake us up multiple times in the middle of the night I understand that all apts are different, so it's possible to pick a different one with none of these issues, but I wasn't expecting these types of things in such an expensive place Also was not expecting to have to get a taxi to go anywhere - not walking friendly and everything is far away - the 2 restaurants that serve the bay are not amazing in terms of food quality and variety and price

The location is great, just a few steps from a beautiful beach. The people were outstanding, from the security folks to reception, the taxi drivers and the cleaning crew, all outstanding! The place is beautiful, clean, lush vegetation and quiet enough.

Our room was slightly dated and needs new bedside draws and a full length mirror, but other than that it was great

Situated in very well maintained gardens the Antigua Village Resort was an ideal location to tour and see the island The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and new towels supplied as and when requested. Complex was quiet with free Wi-Fi and car parking I would recommend to couples and families alike.

The reception is somewhat limited. It is open from 8:30am - 4:00pm and you can of course expect full operation during those hours. But only the security guards cover the reception work outside those hours and what they can do is limited. As the reception business hours can be too short for those need something during early or late hours of the day, I found this limitation somewhat inconvenient, though not completely unmanageable.

The hotel is on the beach and you can take a long walk on or along the beach passing in front of different hotels as all beaches in Antigua and Barbuda are public. The rooms and facilities are dated, but well maintained and clean. Some updates, such as TV, toilet and shower have been done. My room had fully equipped with kitchen. You can therefore cook comfortably. A convenience store and a supermarket are nearby, especially the former is right across the street. The staff was efficient. There are no hotels in the hotel premises, but two restaurants are so close that they are practically the hotel's restaurants. One of the offer breakfast.
