Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower had decent pressure. The breakfast was amazing for a hostel! Considering El Calafate is generally way overpriced for what you get, this hostel was great value.

The location was a little further from town. The furniture, bedding and bathroom are a little outdated.

For a hostel, it wasn't bad. We booked this last minute as we just needed a place to stay before an early morning flight the next day. We don't typically stay in hostels, so I had low expectations going in. It was nice to be able to book a private room and bathroom. The room was very basic but it had everything we needed. The staff were super nice and friendly and helpful. We didn't get to enjoy it, but breakfast was included (looks like it was just some toast and fruit), but still a nice touch. The had communal kitchen and game area. It was surprisingly quiet.

Shower in our room didn't get very warm. Kitchen wasn't very well equipped especially for the amount of people.

Nice vibe, especially for such a big hostel. Breakfast was basic as advertised but plenty of it, 2 types of bread and fresh oranges.

During our stay the city lost water suply. No one informed us about it or when it was planned to be restored, the people at front desk simply shrugged shoulders and said that they don't have water at home either. The kitchen and other building of the same hostel had water (both cold and hot). Had to figure out ourselves where to use the facilities there. The fact that city lost water is not hostel problem, however communication and situation handling could have been better. Breakfast was not so good - white bread with butter and jam. You can pay 4 dollars for some eggs. Room was ok, a bit dark, had a good heating.

They don't make bed and give you sheets to make it, it never happened to me in years of traveling everywhere in the world. In addition, sheets are old and small, they can't cover the bed. I had to use my sleeping bag.

Location and infrastucture are good, as well as toilets and showers. At the time I was there they had a problem with hot water and solved it very well by offering me to shower in a private bathroom. The common area is very nice and kitchen is well equipped. Breakfast is basic but that's the standard in Argentina. Overall, its ok for the price.

Very simple breakfast, only bread and jam and oranges. If you would like to have some eggs, then you need to pay extra (3 eggs for 4USD). No hangers in the wardrobe or anywhere in the room. Worn out kitchen equipment.

old furniture( bunk bed was bit unstable) bit far from centre. last but not least: there are loads of flags with a big Israel one but no even a small Palestinian flag.please add one.

Walls are very thin so can hear everything in the other rooms!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, gave us good tips on what to do and offer a reasonably priced laundry service. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need.

If you book a non-cancellable room, they charge a 4% handling fee, which they don't inform you about in advance. The beds are very narrow, they creak when you move.

The receptionists were very nice. They help with everything.

- they need to have more pots and pans, there’s no point having 16 gas burners if you don’t have that many pots! Didn’t help with other guests not washing up promptly. - there were daily power cuts - would expect them to have installed a generator

- for a big hostel it felt very calm and peaceful - the kitchen setup was excellent with multiple hobs, sinks and fridges - breakfast was basic (as advertised) but plentiful and sets you up really well for the day - rooms are warm and water is very hot - our original room type was unavailable so they upgraded us with no fuss - staff were very friendly and helpful - walkable to both town and the bus station

15 minutes far on foot from the bus station. Nice staff, always available. Breakfast is juice, coffee or tea and some bread with jam or similar. Good experience if you are a solo traveller
