Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ArgentinaThe rooms are quite old furnished, but maintained. No still water in the room available during the day. They bring it to you after 8 pm. The is a kettle but (as I said) no water and no tea/coffee to make. Door lock is broken for both of the two doors - not safe.

GeorgiaEverything was just great. No remarks.
This hotel is one of the best in the area. Beautiful Colonial building, comfy huge bed, cute decorations and some local pieces of art. There is a space like a mini museum/exhibition on the way to the rooms. I loved the part of the spa too, beautiful big enough pool and a view. Very attentive staff and nice restaurant in case you are not in the mood to go out. Highly recommended place.

HungaryThe outdoor chairs on the room terraces are not designed to be sat on..
A charming, well-designed hotel in a heritage building, a bit close to the road, but otherwise perfect for a stay in the region. The rooms are large and comfortable, with a small terrace. There is a un-heated outdoor pool, with excellent sun-loungers in a pretty garden. The best thing is that you are greeted by a herd of alpacas (?) on arrival. The restaurant is high-end, especially the carpaccio, and the breakfast is OK (eggs are available on request).

ItalyThe payment with the card was an issue during the check-out as the terminal did not work, but we managed it. Bring cash!
This was a great surprise for us to find the hotel that exceeded all our expectations. It is a unique hotel that is situated in a small town without tourist crowd which makes it totally pleasant. Though it may be far from all tourist attractions, it is the best option to stay and have it as a base to visit all around Humahuaca area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The wifi is strong all around the hotel including in the rooms and in the private terraces. The service is excellent and the staff are all great. Very spacious parking and cute animals. The biggest gem of the hotel is its restaurant that provides stellar cuisine and quality with excellent choice of wine and all at reasonable prices. We had our best dinners in this hotel during out stay in all our 3-week trip around Argentina. Definitely the best place to stay in the area and it would beat any famous chained 5-star hotel anywhere else. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

United KingdomWe were super disappointment to arrive at this hotel and find out the pool is empty! We booked a couple of nights in this hotel specifically to relax and we were really sold on the photos of the pool. For a hotel that markets itself on the pool (it’s the first photo on booking.com) they should state both on booking.com and on their website that the pool is Out of Order at the moment so people know before booking. There is also no working spa at the hotel at the moment, the jacuzzi etc so all of this was a real let down. Without these facilities this hotel is way overpriced for this area of Argentina - it was out most expensive stay in 2 weeks and the worst value for money. I also thought the breakfast was actually quite limited compared to other 4/5 star hotels - there’s no hot food offered and it’s mainly a selection of breads/cookies/cakes which was not as good as other hotels we’ve stayed at in Salta/Jujuy and not varied enough for the nightly room rate charged.
The room is nicely designed and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the bedrooms is amazing - it was really enjoyable to watch the sun rise over the mountains every morning. The food in the restaurant at dinner lived up to the other reviews and is indeed excellent - but I’d agree with other reviewers who say the restaurant lacks ambiance and the set dinner times of 8pm, 9pm and 10pm only are too late and too restrictive for an upscale establishment.

CanadaIt was too expensive. Also, I did get food poisoning from dinner. I was very sick. Staff at the front desk thought it could be the water but that is not the case. If the water is unsafe, the hotel does not provide water stations nor an option to buy bottled water.
the location is lovely and the decor is outstanding.
